High speed culture change. You go from a country with a vibrant middle class to a third world country where homelessness runs rampant, hunger becomes commonplace and people are more concerned with where their next meal is coming from than who is calling the shots. We are on the very brink of this scenario right this minute and China is wringing their hands in joy. They can see the US, Russia, Europe and the Middle East becoming their satellites.
