Why low income whites usually vote for Trump

Somehow he has convinced low income white men that he is the answer to their miserable lives. That connection is so strong that they can watch him enriching himself and his family at an extraordinary level, cozying up to and further enriching the elite, and protecting the elite on everything from taxation to regulation to Epstein.

And how do they react? They brag about it. They celebrate it. Even though it doesn't help them in any way.

Psychologists call this "identity fusion". They have somehow connected their identity to his. To a flamboyant, jet-setting, hypersenstive, fast-talking NY City billionaire who sports a Flock of Seagulls hairdo and more makeup than his wife. It's more than just living vicariously through him -- it's deeply personal.

We are raising the taxes on corporations. They are called tariffs.
Tariff are paid by corporations and consumers. I would rather tax corporations and the rich directly.

It's also very spotty, as some corporations are far more exposed to tariffs than others.

Then there are the supply chains, in which everything is layered and multiplied.

Then there's his constant insane, manic, random, emotional and punitive changes that make it absolutely impossible for a company to plan or forecast.

He is aggressively, dangerously ignorant.

No...they aren't.

They are being replaced by cheap labor in China and other South Asian countries.

And for all the jobs that can't be exported to the cheap labor... The Democrats have allowed the importation of illegal alien cheap labor from Mexico and South America.
It's both, really. Immigration is a factor, and so is automation. Do you think grocery stores with self-checkouts still employ the same number of cashiers? Do you think that same trend doesn't happen in other industries that aren't so open to the public and blatantly obvious?

It's estimated that 1.7 million jobs have been lost to automation since 2000. Over 9 million had been lost to illegals by 2023. While illegals have been the greater factor, 1.7 is not insignificant at all and it's only going to get worse, while illegal immigration is something that can be controlled and currently IS being slowed down.
