champion the bailout .. excuse me "rescue plan." I would suggest that he would have gained more support by standing against both of them .. where the American people are. When I say CHAMPION the .. ahh .. rescue plan .. surely you're aware that he caused the members of the Congressional Black Caucus who stood against the bailout to change their votes.
Point being, he didn't have to agree to illegal wiretapping to win .. nor did he and Biden have to vote for the Bridge to Nowhere .. which Biden berated Palin for .. although she never voted for it .. Biden did .. and so did Obama .. and if you suggest that they NEEDED to vote for it to win, I would suggest that is untrue.
McCain will continue the trickle down crap from Reagan. It's time that we realize that the middle class is the largest block of people and the ones who make this country work. Keep screwing with them like the right wants to and you will continue down this crappy path that we are on.
McCain won't be able to do anything without going through what may be a democratic super-majority in Congress .. including war. Obama will have no such encumberances to war. Serious question .. then why don't you see his flaws right now? I'm betting you were against the invasion of Iraq .. how can you turn a blind eye to Obama's belief that he has the right to invade any (arab) nation he chooses? One of my biggest problems with Obama is that he's weak as mud. That only thing he stands on is becoming the president. He has flipped and flopped on literally every damn thing he's said. he can easily be bullied, cajoled, and duped into doing anything the right wants him to do.
One of the things that struck me most in the last debate was Obama sitting there with a flag pin on his chest and McCain without it. I thought, what a pussy. They bullied him into it .. even bullied him into hiding his wife .. even though the woman has advanced degrees from the top universities in the world. .. Speaking of which .. I'd vote for his wife in a heartbeat. She seems far more genuine and conscious.

I agree it does, but it should also stand for many things that it won't. As an African-American, I take no pride in seeing the first black president be someone as weak Barack Obama. All black people will get out of this is symbolism because he won't touch ANYTHING that can remotely be conscrued as a black issue.
