Why is it Mexico and Canada's fault if Americans like Fentanyl?

100,000 Americans die of fentanyl and Howard Lutnick says the solution is to impose tariffs on Mexico and Canada.

Trump's commerce nominee was asked about tariffs on Canada and Mexico: Hear the exchange
.

I'm thinking Nobel Peace Prize nominee Donald Trump should have started his bombing campaign by dropping a MOAB on the Sackler residence.

If you want to send a message of deterrence to the originators of our domestic problems, that's how you do it.

.

First things first. We need new laws tailored for actual solutions.
Take the money out the drug business by detaining users for periods of time.
Before or after a trial and a conviction?
No treatment needed. When drug use declines there will be resources for actual treatment.
So **** their withdrawal symptoms?

We need to prioritize our societal problems as well, first addressing the ones that we have solutions for. This too will free up resources to tackle the next one on the list.
I don’t know what that means on a practical level.
However, realistically nothing substantial will be done about any of our major problems. We will just have to live with them as best we can. :( It's every man for himself I'm afraid.
I don’t agree with that. My position is to spend some of America’s resources on treatment and facilities for such treatment and civilized residencies for addict in treatment. And yes. That does mean spending tax dollars.

But, there’s a lot more to do than just that.

In the interim, doing our damndest to cut off the supply would be very useful.

It would be a work in progress, details to be worked out as we go along.

Not if Trump sells F-35's to Saudi Arabia.
The Zionists drafted the Saudis to participate in the false flag of 911. They went along happily it appears. The Zionists have controlled the arab states for decades.

My good fellow, it's never been tried. ;)

Here's my analogy, true story.

Our 50-unit apartment building was overrun with cockroaches for years. The owner tried everything; sprays, sticky traps, boric acid, store bought baits. Nothing was effective. When he passed away his kids took over the building and immediately hired a professional pest control service. Within a year the bugs were gone and have never returned. Current efforts are like my late boss, doing everything under the sun except the one thing that will solve the problem.
Cockroaches in buildings are not really the same, have nothing to do with, the dynamics of prohibition of drugs, whether alcohol or others. If you dare to listen to this interview with Sheriff Hathaway in Arizona, you will hear a very experienced and informed man, career with DEA in South America. He documents the century long futility with the prohibition. I hope you will listen to it, but will understand if you don't.

Very interesting and actually reinforces what I've been saying. Thanks.

As depicted in the photo below from 1973, tobacco smoke filled indoor sports venues. Now it’s completely banned and non-existent there.
We successfully defeated cigarette smoking through public awareness and messaging campaigns. The same can be done with drug abuse — beginning with pot, the gateway drug that is loaded with its own devastating risks.
People need to know and the behavior needs to be ostracized.

Overall trend: Smoking rates have fallen dramatically since the 1960s, with the overall rate decreasing by over 70%. This decline is due to factors like public health campaigns and a greater awareness of the health risks associated with smoking.”

It isnt abut liking its poison often disguised as legal drugs killing people. Addiction isnt about liking its an illness. Trump has the right solution. Blow them up before they get here.
Addiction is a tortured love affair between the addict and his or her drugs where the drugs are the "Dom":whip: .

The basis of addiction is trauma. This is a treatable mental disorder. Its immoral to enable it

Addicts and users don't care about the health risks. That's why legal risks must be enforced upon them.

The basis of addiction is a level of pleasure which is unattainable from any other substance or activity.

No addiction is not pleasure. Its self medication to escape from the pain of trauma. When did you get your degree in psychology. How many addicts have you treated? Youre blaming the victim

Some actually do care about the risks and ultimately seek help.
AA and NA exist for a reason.
Nicorette helped a lot of smokers quit.
And it’s just as important to prevent new habits from developing.

AA doesnt deal with trauma and in my opinion after monitoring many meetings it isnt very effective. Its better than nothing. Trauma therapy is the solution
