It does seem like the Socialists/Progressives do give Soros a free pass. You never hear them mention his name when they're railing against the "Evil Rich" and "Evil Businesses." He is a criminal after all. So this question is for the "Occupier" supporters on the Left. Why not occupy Soros' front yard?

No. The economy is in trouble because the people have been dishonest, arrogant, corrupt, and because of that our government has been as well.

Soros and his crew are just opportunists who: 1) want to make money and 2) Want to use the chaos to establish their "Open Society" or whatever other utopian idea they have.

And they stir up the hearts of the people to anger to blame Wall Street and the Jews. Wall Street is simply another road in the great city on a hill.

There is no reason to be angry at our brethren because they've made money. If they have done so illegally they will be punished. This isn't a call for justice. It's a call for government sponsored robbery, revolution, and an end to the nation as we know it.

Study the Revolution in Hungary sometime. It's the same method that the communists used there.

You answered your own question right off the bat. Soros is a socialist, he gives millions to the cause to pervert our system to a socialist one. Therefore as far as the left are concerned his criminal activity is not only excusable -its justified. The man is a criminal to all normal people but a hero to the left even though the man belongs in prison. Even though he is a billionaire, he uses his wealth to try and create a system that will insure no one else will do so -which protects HIS power that HIS wealth buys. Only wealthy people who are capitalists are "worthy" of stalking, harassing them and their families and terrorizing their children.

Surely you have noticed that when a Democrat or prominent leftwinger breaks the law, the left circles the wagons and holds that criminal up as their standard bearer. Because criminals really are their standard bearers.
