Why is California still counting votes two weeks after the election?

One reason was to allow 12,009 votes to molasses in over the last 7 days and take Republican Michelle Steeles lead from 10,000 up to 200 down. Then the Casey crap in PA also
They screwed her. Down 1,200 now
They do not have electronics in that area of CA and have to count on their fingers during daylight hours and use a pencil that they have to resharpen after each tabulation mark

Yeah you know that's bullshit

More weak sauce from the troll.

Anything on topic?

Got a reason KKKalifornia is still counting votes two weeks after the election?
Because everyone's vote needs to be counted. What's the sense in voting if yours won't be counted?

This only happens in blue states. Red states with a population similar to California got the votes counted on Election Day.

We should pass a law stating any votes not tabulated within 24 hours of the polls closing will not be counted.

You can't do that because unethical election officials will see to it that cities/counties/areas that are heavily Republican will be counted last and slow down the count of the others to ensure the red areas never get counted.

The best way is to do it is have all mail in ballots delivered to the precinct voting station where those casting the ballots are registered and they must be delivered before the polls close on election day. And all voting in person must vote at the precinct voting location in which they are registered. And then, with poll watchers present, the votes will be counted and tabulated at that voting station and counting will continue until all votes are counted. The poll watchers will be given a certified copy of the final count before things are shut down at that precinct as a safeguard against any hanky panky after the fact.

That way it is easy to identify when there are more votes than registered voters which of course should require an immediate audit before any ballots are removed from that location. But it also would not overwork the election officials anywhere. The average precinct has roughly 1,100 registered voters. The largest in the county has roughly 2,700 registered voters. Pretty much every precinct could be counted and reported by midnight everywhere in the country.

Other states have the same rules
There is a part two to voting and lib loons ALWAYS choose to dismiss the part two
The part two is vote on Election Day OR get your ballot in on time. Period-that’s your responsibility
Libs might as well demand that polls continue to stay open after election day so they can be accommodated

They are not the same, nor do they have the same absentee election laws that govern them.

And Florida did NOT have their vote counted on election night. Florida's vote actually was not all counted and certified, until yesterday.

Because Florida's race was not too close between Harris and Trump, they could give a PREDICTION of who won Florida with fewer votes counted. If the race had been close then it would have taken more votes counted to predict a winner in the State and likely a few days to determine the prediction.
PA could have been counted in a timely manner if the they didn't count invalid ballots to try to change the total--but I am sure you are in support of their illegal actions.

Yep, if the dems had won, this would have been sewn up on election night. But since trump won, they have to drag it out and count every illegal vote they can find

Umm, do you think maybe technology has come a long way since your example? 24 years ago? 🤡

Where in the last several elections now, it's blue districts that count and count and count, until miraculously, the D wins the election. :auiqs.jpg:
Does not look like it happened much in this election, with R taking the Presidency, Senate and House. I am not in the areas you speak of, so do not follow the particulars. I assure you, both major parties do indeed suck, that being the reason neither can count on my vote on a continuing basis.
