Why is California still counting votes two weeks after the election?

This only happens in blue states. Red states with a population similar to California got the votes counted on Election Day.

We should pass a law stating any votes not tabulated within 24 hours of the polls closing will not be counted.

No votes for Democrats should be counted, they're all a bunch of Soviets.

I said count. You bring up recounts from your election denier…….and a bunch more off topic trolling.

Why do you think KKKalifornia is still counting votes two weeks after the election, Troll?
MI, PA, NY and PA have only counted a bit over 50% of their house races
and the same holds true for OH, MI, WI, MT, MD, PA, AZ and NV in senate races.
Strange that many of these are states are under a cloud of suspicion since they have irregularities in their election processes. Hmmm

If you had actually read your article from this unknown source, it explains that California election law that passed several years ago, allows all 40 million Californians that are registered to vote, can vote via absentee ballot, which takes much longer to count because of the manual process of envelopes being opened and verification process etc...

AND California election law accepts all ballots mailed and dated on election day, and gives one week for them to arrive to be counted...so Nov 12th they begin counting all of the mail in ballots.

California election certification must be completed by December 7 under their laws....

....nearly every state has a different certification date. As example Florida vote count must be finalized and certified by November 19, my state is November 25.

Texas and Florida has absentee voting, but manages to count on Election Day.

Cali is run by an idiot. Period. End of story.

They are not the same, nor do they have the same absentee election laws that govern them.

And Florida did NOT have their vote counted on election night. Florida's vote actually was not all counted and certified, until yesterday.

Because Florida's race was not too close between Harris and Trump, they could give a PREDICTION of who won Florida with fewer votes counted. If the race had been close then it would have taken more votes counted to predict a winner in the State and likely a few days to determine the prediction.

Why count, the MSM called CA for Harris 0.2 seconds after the polls closed, I mean, literally.....

Florida allows overseas/military ballots an extra 10 days to get there as long as they are postmarked by election day, before they count the overseas military vote.

So, you are WRONG on Florida. They did not have all their votes counted on election day.

If Florida had had a closer race, then they would not have been able to predict its winner on election night and would have had to wait for the call, till after the overseas vote arrived, 10 days later.

-----------

  • An overseas voter has 10 extra days from election day for a vote-by-mail ballot to be received. This 10-day extension only applies in presidential preference primary elections, general elections, and special elections and special primary elections (by operation of section 100.191, Florida Statutes). The overseas voter’s vote-by-mail ballot must be postmarked or dated by Election Day and received within 10 days of the election in order to be counted, provided the ballot is otherwise proper.

Just pointing out, not only blue states, as you stated.
Florida was Prog areas where the votes had problems. And Florida was called for W. before the panhandle voting was closed as it is a Central time while the rest of the state is Eastern Time. So, thousands of people went home and did not vote. And it is overwhelmingly Republican. You are criminals. It is a fact. You are thieves and you steal with no guilt.

There are well over 40 Million Folks in California on any given day

And in CA it’s one general contiguous area that accounts for 80% of the delayed tallies
There is no Doubt it is coordinated delayed tabulation
In Shasta County we were still counting as of yesterday ( and there are only 180k Residents in Shasta County )☹️
