He made vague promises for Hope and Change, but nothing specific to help Black people. He got their hopes up, but only to get their vote and boy did he ever get their vote. 95%! Cha CHING! Americans are getting dumber by the day it seems, and partisan nonsense is pushing them into total wacko world. Is it any wonder an empty barrel Trump is successful? Do we not have a society made up of local and state government, a federal congress, religious institutions, and enormous and powerful corporations, do they have no play in this? And then should Obama do something that helps the inner city and rural poverty, 'southern strategy' would raise its head in the form of the 'tea party' et al and condemn him.
