With regards to the Middle East, the gulf states are among the most richest and safest in the world. You’re thinking of a country like Yemen. And to some extent Syria, Jordan, Iraq.

As for Africa yes most of the continent is very very poor. And we simply cannot blame colonialism. That’s just a cop out. All you have to do is look at Singapore a country which was colonized by the British but gained independence in the 20th century… and is one of the most successful countries in the world today

I would differ on this. It's racial, and melanin is immaterial to that. There are plenty of people with significant amounts of melanin who are genius and those with very little who are morons.

But I thought Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan had lot of foreign investment? Also lot of foreign western companies built factories in Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.
