MLK was for white and black anti poverty policies. He said there were more poor whites than blacks so every poor person should have better lives.

It's childish to use one line about poverty to pretend that MLK's focus wasn't on the black condition. There wasn't some grander all-inclusive philosophy involving whites as well. Must serve some weird liberal purpose to paint it that way.
