How about some cliffnotes?
Controlling guns or drugs is an exercise in futility.Gun control doesn’t work anywhere…some countries simply have low crime rates because their populations don’t engage in crime……then, they import violent criminals, and all of a sudden, they have violent gun crime despite their gun control laws…..
Sweden…..
Are fully automatic military rifles banned in Sweden?
Are hand grenades banned in Sweden?
If so, the immigrant drug gangs don’t seem to know it…..
On october 15th thousands of followers of 5iftyy, a Swedish rapper, tuned into his Instagram channel for what he said would be an important livestream. They found themselves watching a bearded man brandish a gold-plated ak-47 while hurling insults at rival gang members, backed by three rifle-toting thugs in balaclavas. The man with the golden gun was Mustafa “Benzema” Aljiburi, a leading member of a Swedish narcotics network known as Foxtrot. Mr Aljiburi is believed to be living in Iraq. He staged the appearance to dispel rumours of his death and to threaten various enemies, including a Swedish prosecutor.
The livestream looked ridiculous, but the threats were serious. For years Sweden has suffered from high rates of gang-related violence, but for the past two years it has been relentless. In the first ten months of the year there were 324 shootings in Sweden, 48 of them fatal.
The rate of gun crime is several times higher than that in neighbouring countries. Gangs have taken to attacking the homes of rivals with hand grenades and dynamite; there have been 139 explosions this year.
The government is frantically toughening laws and raising its law-enforcement budget, but it is behind the curve. “We should have seen this coming and taken these measures at least ten years ago,” says Daniel Bergstrom, an adviser to Sweden’s justice minister.

I have my doubts.I read it.
I have my doubts.
What you don't understand is that people can't commit gun crimes, if they can't get a gun. Yes there is a black market, but most of those guns came from law abiding gun owners.it isn't guns, or normal people who own guns who are the problem, which is what dumb asses like you do not care to understand.
It seems that the majority of the lefts agenda is forcing law abiding people to do something. What you don't understand is that people can't commit gun crimes, if they can't get a gun. Yes there is a black market, but most of those guns came from law abiding gun owners.
“Statistics show that those individuals committing what is known as ‘street crimes’ are typically doing so by utilizing weapons that have been initially stolen and may have further traded hands in the black market.”

Where do criminals really get their guns?
Mass shootings all too routinely hit the headlines across the United States. But what rarely makes a blip on the news cycle are the individual acts of gun violence that permeate the social fabric – with almost 500,000 violent crimes committed with a gun annually, according to the National...www.fox10phoenix.com
By forcing "responsible" gun owners, to actually be responsible, and lock up their weapons, so they don't fall into the wrong hands.
By publicly hanging violent robbers, murderers, pedos, and rapists within a short time after a guilty verdict. So laws against murder are good, even though 99% of people would never commit murder anyway. Are the rights of those 99% infringed because they are not allowed to commit murder?
How do we ensure only normal people own guns?
F*ck*n' "A"It seems that the majority of the lefts agenda is forcing law abiding people to do something.
No, there are three common methods. Straw purchases, sales thru private sellers that do not have a back ground check, and theft.F*ck*n' "A"
Most of the guns that end up in bad guys hands are because one of those "law abiding" citizens, didn't lock up his guns. And some of them have so many of them, to a burglar, it looks like Christmas.
Like the Central Park Five?By publicly hanging violent robbers, murderers, pedos, and rapists within a short time after a guilty verdict.
You realize that in straw purchases "law abiding gun owners" buy a gun for somebody not eligible to. buy one STRIKE ONE GUN OWNERNo, there are three common methods. Straw purchases, sales thru private sellers that do not have a back ground check, and theft.
You realize if they are doing a straw purchase they are not law abiding. You realize that in straw purchases "law abiding gun owners" buy a gun for somebody not eligible to. buy one STRIKE ONE GUN OWNER
Private sellers (no background check) again "law abiding gun owners" selling a guy to somebody not eligible to buy one. STRIKE TWO GUN OWNER
Theft, already covered STRIKE THREE GUN OWNER
It looks like the solutions all involves the "law abiding" gun owner.
They are "law abiding" until they get caught. You realize if they are doing a straw purchase they are not law abiding.
Keep spinning, gene. They are "law abiding" until they get caught.
So to get guns out of criminals hands, the recourse is to make the "law abiding" gun owner, actually obey the law.
No, since the answer to each is: sometimes yes, sometimes no.No one has a right to commit murder but everyone has a right to own firearms.
You can't see the difference can you?
I asked "How do we ensure only normal people own guns?" and you said you're not interested in preventing gun deaths. Got it.Yes...I know you are an anti-gun extremist......and will act like a doofus to try to make a dumb point.
What you want as it pertains to guns are laws that prevent crimes with guns.....well, you want to ban and confiscate them.
Laws against murder do not stop murder......you want to use laws against guns to keep people from buying, owning and carrying them, making the laws so difficult to obey, that people will decide not to own, buy or carry guns....while criminals, who ignore the laws anyway, will continue to own and carry guns illegally.
The laws you want will punish the normal gun owner, who has a life, a job, a family, and who will suffer legal peril for the mere act of possession of a gun....those are the laws you want.
The laws we have right now allow us to arrest and imprison people who use guns illegally......you want preemptive gun laws, legal red tape, fines, fees and taxes that ensares normal gun owners for process crimes...so that you can punish them, destroy their lives, and take away their gun Rights forever...hence your desire for licensing, background checks for private sales, (which do nothing against criminals, but will allow you another avenue to persecute normal gun owners), Red Flag laws....all laws that do nothing to stop criminals, but put normal gun owners in tremendous legal peril if they fail to jump through the right hoops....
It's kind alike, everybody having the right to own a car, whether they know how to drive or not.No one has a right to commit murder but everyone has a right to own firearms.
You can't see the difference can you?
