Why does the press say an "independent judiciary" answerable to no one is GOOD???

The president and congress answer to the voters but all federal judges are appointed for LIFE and never face the voters!!! There is no oversight of them and yet they have given themselves the authority to write, rewrite, and repeal laws even though the constitution says "All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a congress of the united states.".

Liberals love having unelected judges run the county but if Trump remakes the federal judiciary they may be screaming for elections too.
