The Afghan Withdrawal was the most successful withdrawal by a losing army, in human history.

They got 150,000 people out of Afghanistan, in two weeks, with a loss of only 13 lives. That's a fucking miracle.

Lloyd Austin going AWOL resulted in a change of procedures. No one was put in danger by a security leak at the level of this fuckup.

The Air Force General who was just fired managed to drop overall aircraft readiness from over 80% to less than 55%.

He had, as a "fighter pilot" a single Air Medal to his credit. I knew a Warrant Officer, a Dust Off pilot in Vietnam with 51 of them along with a Silver Star and two Purple Hearts.

I would pay far more attention to that lowly WO than I ever would to that incompetent Four Star General!

Frietze, Bronze Star. Bronze Star recipient Lt. Gen. Joseph “JP” McGee. How about Maj. Gen. Mark H. Slocum with a Bronze Star, 1,375 combat hours, 340 combat sorties flying T-37, T-38, F-111, EF-111, F-15E, not to mention the Distinguished Flying Cross with two oak clusters. They don't give those out in crackerjack, dude. Don't forget Rear Adm. Paul Spedero Jr., another Bronze star holder with 3,800 hours in the F-14, the F/A-18, and other Navy aircraft and has logged 870 carrier arrested landings. The joint chiefs have been there and done that, all over the world. The only thing more impressive than their combat experience is the breath and depth of positions and Commands held, and the military training schools attended. They are the real deal, whether they have you pitiful approval or not.
