Not at all. Most of us who "Live and let Live" do so because we just don't care what others do.Unfortunately, I am more guilty of apathy than hate, and that's probably a lot worse...

About the year 2009 , my work department supervisors told me when we turn off a inert gas system ( fire suppression ) on one of our production mills, that PER CORPORATE, we must use Master locks to lock the valves in the off position. We did not have to do that previously.
There was at the time three production mills we turned the inert gas system off when the mills were being worked on. To prevent the possibility of an accidental discharge of a suffocating inert gas while the production mill was being worked on, we turn it off and standby the mill in case of fire.
We only were made to lock the valves off on one mill, the mill in Bay One south. For some reason , the shift supervisors in my Security department said the placing of Master locks on valves turned off; did not apply to the inert gas system for the production mills in Bay One north, and Bay One center.
A Corporate policy from Corporate headquarters , and for some reason the shift supervisors seen fit to amend the policy to their liking.
Why ?
I was near Bay One about the summer of 2005. Someone set a fire in the exit conveyor pit of the production mill at Bay One center. There needed to be a lot of heat to catch that pit on fire, so I believe the fire in the pit was intentional . I put the fire out alone with a fire extinguisher as I recall.
Not long after that, I was in Bay One north. I seen a fire again on the upper level of the production mill in Bay One center. I called the emergency over the radio, the location and nature of the emergency . Then I grabbed a inert gas fire extinguisher and put out the fire. Someone had tied rags around a handrail and set them in fire. No one around that I seen , the bay was deserted . Afterwards the foreman from 3rd shift criticized me for blowing rags everywhere. I believe I done right because I pushed the fire from the center of the mill, to the outside where the Bay Area was. I did not push the fire inside to the mill itself where the grease and oil held on the side of the mill. How did the 3 rd shift supervisor know what I did since he was not there, unless he watched me by some covertly placed video camera?
About the summer of 2003 there was a fire near Bay 6 east. It was on a furnace. It appeared tome that Someone cut a hydraulic hose on the north west corner and lit the fluid. We " caught " the outside hydrant " with the fire truck and " foamed " the fire, finally extinguishing it. My department manager ( former state law enforcement officer ) was there, and he helped me put the supply line back on the truck .
When I first started working at my current job site ; there were half a dozen dumpster fired we responded to. Fire don't start themselves in these instances ; someone started them.
Arson.
People don't know that an injury or death can result from their malicious and criminal behavior.
A firefighter ( my department members and especially me ) can have a physical injury, a heart attack,or a traumatic fatality can result from someone intentionally setting fires.

The inert gas system in bay one north did not get started " locking out " till I made a issue of it as I recall.
Still there is lockout tag policy in bay one ; on the south mill.
" Lock out - tag out "is supposed to be standardized but it is not, and it is for every employee.
Lock out - tag out is not for those whom are not in hazard areas ; nor is it for people 50 feet away from the hazard area in a safe zone
Mill production and maintenance foreman , routinely for the past 10 years or so: walking in hazard areas, just stepping off of their cushman buggy and walking in hazard areas , without " locking out - hanging their lock out locks " on the lockout board, as per policy.
But the foreman plant wide "write up "other subordinates for not following a policy or a simple mistake.
Favoritism occurs in disciplinary actions.

It doesn't matter how many hate as WHO hates. Take Bush for instance. He is a nice guy battling his demons and the shadow of his father. Bad luck showed he was not up for the job of POTUS as 9/11 exposed just about all of his weaknesses. His lack of judgement was the difference between treating the attacks as a criminal event as Clinton did before him. Instead he engaged our might against the wrong people egged on by his advisers. Bush relied on Cheney and Rove for advice. Now THEY are HATERS. Off the chart haters. They saw 9/11 as fortunate for their fortunes as well as redemption for that silly "The Project for the New American Century" that Cheney founded that was EXTREMELY hate filled against the Muslims and the Arabs. Rove saw 9/11 as a path to controlling the country politically by fear. Anyone who attempts to control people by threat is a bully. All bullies are haters. Bush asked Cheney to find him the best VP and Lordy Lordy SHEEZAM!! He chose himself. THAT was Bush's first and worst mistake. He didn't choose Cheney out of hate. He honestly looked up to Cheney...proving Bush was just a fool and a dupe. At the same time George decided to reject any advice from his father. THAT he did not out of hate but to assert himself that he was in his dad's league...which as we found out he was not.
Obama is NOT a black man. He is half white, articulate, well spoken and well educated. As hard as some on the far right have tried to equate Obama with the black thugs of Chicago they cannot make that case. The far right has attempted to gin up unbelievable hatred towards the half black president. He did what they could never do, inspire Americans.
Trump is a hater, Cruz is a hater. The majority of Americans will always chose the nicest "guy" as president...the one that calls upon our better angels. We can only hope that he or she will be given the chance we hope for when we elect them. That is why I voted for Bush.

I started at my current work site , early of the year 2001.
To the best of my recollection , we were not required to start testing fire hose till about the year 2004, and even then only part of the department tested fire hose. About the years 2006 and 2007 , the fire hose in the seven bays on the east side if the plant did not get tested ; which I noticed by the hose not being painted ( it is color painted to a specific year of testing ) , and some hose I noticed was not moved.
Some Supervisors in my department , " making up work " for subordinate personnel to do...... Especially me - very much especially me .....by the former third shift foreman ; as I believe to be vindictive and hateful. Some subirdinates all the time doing " made up work " or " fabricated tasks and jobs ".
Since the year 2001 when I started ; Some shifts working all night, while some shifts..... And / or people sleep after about ten or eleven o'clock - to about 5 am - Which occurs on a regular , routine and frequent basis in my observation .
Some people in my department doing inspections and as I believe some people not doing inspections ( valve and other outside inspections ) ; but documenting that they do. Valves stuck, not lubricated, and in poor shape ....leads me to believe this. This also since the year 2001.
About the month of February of this year I checked a valve in my inspection area that has been off for many months. The PIV valve north of some warehouses on the south east side of the facility . When I checked it ; it was on . I discussed the discrepancy with the 3 rd shift foreman - as he sat at his desk , me near the doorway to the supervisors office. No one told me the Valve was on , it was not changed on my checksheet ( valve marked as being permanently off - sheet can only be changed by a foreman on the password protected computer ) and it was not spoken to me as being back on . Someone or a group if people was testing me I believe . ???? Discredit me . ????

I hate THINGS or personality traits.
So, if people have them, I don't like to be around them.
I like very forthright, straight forward people
I'd rather someone be mean and nasty to me if they don't like me, then pretend to like me cause I can tell.
I also hate when people just stop talking to you without telling you why
How can you ever improve if you don't know what people don't like about you?
