Why Do People Post Video's About Cutting Off Family Over Politics

For me it seems the hard lefties are the ones most likely to use social media to rant and rave about their politics.

The ration is about 4 to 1, lefty ranting to righty ranting.

Do you have a video of anyone on the right doing this?

I am not saying it would not happen, but everything I see is people cutting off what they call "MAGA" families.

I don't know. Maybe.. Since many of friends on Facebook are on the right of the political spectrum I see a lot of anti-liberal posts. I also see anti-Trump posts as well from some of my liberal friends. I never respond. The only place I post about politics is here and even I get tired of it at times and need a break.

I see it in my family more on my Facebook feed than anything, from both sides in my family.

I think that's a bit over the top.

First, the things they say are often disjointed and incoherent. I don't see it as part of a plan.

Maybe you were referencing something else.

It definitely is over the top. Most thing the leftists promote is over the top. I am quite confident in my evaluation of the motives involved though.

It is amazing to me that some people let their politics triumph their family relationships.

I also find it amazing that people feel the need to post when they decide they are done with family over politics.

What am I missing?

Would you disown family who voted for Hitler in Nazi Germany?

Really, this is the question those on the Left are asking themselves as Trump is portrayed as Hitler by Legacy media and why so many tried to Charlie Kirk Trump. They think that their family is destroying their country and way of life like Hitler did.

At the same time, would you disown a Nazi guilty of war crimes? I personally would want to distance myself from someone immersed in mass genocide, much like I would want to distance myself from someone who blows the head off their political opponents and dance in the streets in mass like animals when they do as they desecrate any of their memorials and post vile things about the dead person, just like I would the Nazi genocidal monster.

So, in some instances it makes sense.
