The virus in New York and most of the States in the East and eastern south, have a mutation of the COVID19 virus originating in Wuhan, the mutation corona virus that NYC etc comes from Europe, and not from China.
What does that mean?
It means the Chinese people in NYC, nor the 400000 people who had flights in to NYC from China early this year, are the cause of NYCs community spread.
The origination of this novel corona virus, through DNA tracking, that spread in eastern states and ny came from Europe....
And all the millions of travelers to and from, the EU and Britain to the NYC/ nj
metro Airports, brought the virus or spread the virus, not China.
Why is that important to know?
Well, we simply need to learn from our 20/20 hindsight.... with emerging deadly viruses, we need to stop flights from everywhere, EARLY on or quarantining returning passengers, all airport workers supplied with n95 masks immediately, all citizens out and about with surgical masks, or better yet, have 15 minuite testing for the new virus at all entry points in to the USA...So not to disrupt as much.... early testing is the key...And isolating positives.
Contain the virus early, don't presume shutting down flights from China is good enough...And all is going to be all fine....
We in the east, got a stronger corona virus With a heavierr viral load, than the original from Wuhan virus that the west coast was initially hit with....
This mutation from the EU, with the heavier viral load, has nearly taken over the Wuhan version throughout the USA now.
