Why do I need an AR15?

Simple, and glaringly obvious:

Since Jan 20, 2025, Democrats / liberals / leftist have demonstrated they are -more- than comfortable with political violence, and are maybe 20-30 minutes away from taking it to the streets at the wholesale level. As these domestic terrorists always travel in packs - Burning and Looting Mobs,, as it were - I need an AR15 to deal with the threat they pose to my person, my family, and my property.

We on the right thank you for the clarity your actions bring to the gun control debate; we now know why (as if there was ever a question) you have always been so keen to ban these weapons from private possession.

A personal note to my friends on the left:
Those plastic barrel riot shields you use to intimidate those you oppose aren't rated for M855.

I heard about this rifle in 2022 and wanted one but was hesitant due to some early issues....Upon investigation (and a 50 page thread on ARFCOM) I found that most were user oriented.

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to buy one (made this year) for a very good price and did. Between setting it up (with weight savings in mind) and wringing it out I'm happy to report that it performs well.

The rifle:

When I got it it came with a big honking "tactical" case (I gave it to a friend), four 20-round magpul mags, and a SIG Romeo 5 red dot.

Its smaller than an standard AR10, but 308 requires certain minimum dimensions (mag well) so its still bigger than an AR15.
Nice gun, tho - if you want the lightest AR10 you can get, its for you.

I got that covered too not counting bolt action battle rifles. Just added a pre-ban STG-58.

I've got to say, a man armed with a 10 round brit bolt action rifle is not really that under gunned.
