Why would they blame Obama? He's not in the party that is blocking every attempt at even the smallest of gun control measures.

He just exploited the situation for political gain.

And what gain was that?
Congress blocks CDC from researching gun violence.
Senate rejects background checks.
I'm not sure what good it would do to protest whitehouse when obama asked for background checks.
