It is the most sensitive information that the government has. For example, it could contain information about ongoing covert activities, informants at the highest level of the Russia or Chinese goverment, information on deployment of nuclear weapons. This is the kind of stuff you see in spy movies where people die to get or protect.TS/SCI is pretty highly classified. I think anyone with any rationality would agree.
“Because they do” is weak. Are you just making it up or do you have a reason to believe this?
The ISSO should be in the president's office on moving day to secure all classified documents in his custody or his staff. However, Trump would have probably told them to fuck off, I'm not going anywhere".
