So we’re there so some Arabic female can vote?

The same one that had her clitoris scraped off when she was 12, so she wouldn’t ever be able to have sexual pleasure, per the Muslim teachings?

These folks aren’t worth it people - can’t you understand that?

They’re barbarians that are stuck in the 9th Century. Did you know that it’s common for the groom’s family to receive the bloody sheets from the couple’s honeymoon evening together - to show that she was a virgin before marriage?

Give it up - these people will never be civilized.

You continue to show that you have absolutely no class.

First you claim that any male who would not use his position as POTUS to get blow jobs from interns are either women or weak-minded sheep.

Then you say what you did in this post?

You have some serious issues.

You're worthless. If you weren't so old already, I'd suggest looking into sterilization. As-is, maybe assisted suicide? (shrug).

So democracy should be exclusive to high minded pople like yourself. This moronic thinking. Just because you don't understand their culture doesn't make you better. The people of Iraq are "civilized." Just not by your definition. Also, you are apeaking in broad generalizations of Sha'ria law. That isn't practiced in Iraq. Also, I sure am glad that the French and Spanish didn't say, "Those barbarian Americans aren't worth it, fuck 'em." If they had said this, then your sorry ass would be singing "God save the Queen."

And while your ancestors were scratching their backsides in loin cloths and beating their food to death with clubs, these 'uncivilized' people had already come up with the mathematical principle they called 'al jabr' or 'algebra.' The Arabs were ahead of the curve on civilization until centuries of Islamofascism and psychotic dictators held them back.

Even if that wasn't true, and they were a bunch of filthy savages and had always been behind civilization, like the South American and African tribals, they're still human beings, and every human being is worth saving.

Yep - back in the 9th Century they were some hot shit. What have they done for the world since Columbus sailed the ocean blue?

Now, if that ain't some condescending shit. If somebody has to stay useful to be worth helping, you'd have died long ago. You have no respect for human life, only what's in it for you. You're not even worth talking to any more.

Apathy: it’s what’s for dinner.

So, DF, is this your monthly comparison of Iraq to Vietnam? The question in your topic title implies such.

In Vietnam, we supported a despotic regime simply because they opposed Communist takeover and we were at the height of the Cold War. The government of South Vietnam was not supported by the people of Vietnam. The government of North Vietnam was only supported by the people of North Vietnam who were either ultra-Nationalists and believed Uncle Ho's horseshit, or at gunpoint. Whichever worked.

In Iraq, it is the despotic regime we have taken out, and have laid a groundwork for democracy. The religious fruitloops aren't interested because they prefer shoving their brand of religion down everyone's throats. As long as the government if Iraq is fundamentally a democratic government, and still desire out assistance, why should we leave?

To satisfy those of you who cost us one war and are working on another? We didn't lose in Vietnam. We lost the Vietnam War HERE at home by the same tactic being employed today -- a media hostile to the government's involvement in Iraq/friendly with the anti-government, lying liberals who would rather face National defeat than allow a Republican administration to do something good.

Let's call a spade a spade .... if we are successful in Iraq, EVERYTHING you libs have chanted for the past 3 years is discreditted and the current administration is right. It isn't about doing the right thing. It's about the political disaster that would befall the left should Bush's efforts be successful.

In other words, you lefties can't afford for us to win.
