The best argument for capitalism, although I think the present economic system in the US would be labeled mercantilism by Adam Smith, is the fact in spite of that, workers have a wealthy life here compared to all other nations excepting many in the EU. Socialism and capitalism are economic tools, not religions. Those that treat each as a religion demonstrate their intellectual poverty.
