So which American tariffs would be okay to place on these foreign states?
How the tariff battle between Canada and the United States will impact Canadians | Globalnews.ca
The U.S. reimposing tariffs on some Canadian aluminum exports and Canada intends to put a reciprocal surtax on aluminum and aluminum-containing products from across the border.
"As the United States reimposes tariffs on some Canadian aluminum imports and Canada prepares to hit back, experts say the dispute will make certain products more expensive for Canadians — but it’s not yet clear how awful the pain will be or how long it will last."
This was from 2020, tariffs were on certain goods from Canada and Mexico already.
Say which would be "okay" isn't a good question. No tariffs might be better for everyone except a few people who might benefit. The EU is a perfect example of how well a free trade zone can do, and I guess the US is too.
