What credible scientific studies demonstrate this? There is no identified gender .. you're either male or female, with a micro-minority of individuals having both physical characteristics.

It's a dying trend as studies (further up in this thread) have demonstrated, and many individuals who have chosen to wear the facade of the opposite sex will eventually have reality reassert itself.

I had an Aunt who was a lesbian. But because she grew up in 1950's White Catholic America, she wasn't allowed to live her truth. She entered a sham marriage that didn't last a year. Had a secret girlfriend.

The idea that society can force people into boxes because they find living their truth too much trouble, dealing with bigots like you, is nothing to be proud of.

You've probably passed transgender folks on the street and had no idea they were transgender.

Uh, no, because Chloe Brockman (Not Cole) just straight up lied.

She wasn't "talked into it", she demanded it. And when the first set of doctors her parents found said she wasn't a good candidate for GAC, she stamped her little feet until they found her a new set of doctors who would sign off on it.

This girl also had autism, an eating disorder, and suicidal ideation.

In short, she was a hot mess, and these are according to her own filing.

The problem is, we have YET to hear the side of the Doctors who treated her, because they are bound by HIPAA and can't talk about the whole of the case until it gets to court (if it ever does. They'll probalby just give her "go away" money.

We have eating disorders because we have a whole media structure pushing unrealistic body types, from the use of thin models to Barbie Dolls. That's why young girls - or some of them - think their bodies are wrong instead of just different.

Given that gender dysphoric people will face lifetimes of discrimination, I doubt there is any "peer pressure" to embrace that unless your brain is really wired that way.



That's not true, either. In fact, Gender Affirming care reduces suicide risk. That you have to go to "Sweden" to find a study that validates your position means you are ignoring numerous American studies proving quite the opposite.

Results​

The overall mortality for sex-reassigned persons was higher during follow-up (aHR 2.8; 95% CI 1.8–4.3) than for controls of the same birth sex, particularly death from suicide (aHR 19.1; 95% CI 5.8–62.9). Sex-reassigned persons also had an increased risk for suicide attempts (aHR 4.9; 95% CI 2.9–8.5) and psychiatric inpatient care (aHR 2.8; 95% CI 2.0–3.9). Comparisons with controls matched on reassigned sex yielded similar results. Female-to-males, but not male-to-females, had a higher risk for criminal convictions than their respective birth sex controls.

Conclusions​

Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population. Our findings suggest that sex reassignment, although alleviating gender dysphoria, may not suffice as treatment for transsexualism, and should inspire improved psychiatric and somatic care after sex reassignment for this patient group.

Study after study have shown that transgender people who get treatment have a lower rate of suicidal ideation.

Yes people with anxiety and panic attacks have mental illness also no one said anything about it disqualifying them as citizens. Some of us just actually care about them, now, AND their eternal life also. They are delusional and their suicide rates are among the highest
