Why are Biden supporters saying Biden made some mistakes in the debate but his economy is strong?

Are Biden supporters insane?

After the debate Bidenā€˜s supporters are saying ā€œOK Biden kind of fumbled a little bit, but his economy is doing incredible.ā€ And they’re also accusing Trump of lying.

Biden’s supporters either are outright lying to people or they’re just brainwashed. They will often say ā€œlook at how the stock market is doing so goodā€. Of course, only a few companies carry the S&P 500. And most Americans don’t own stocks. If they do own stocks they have to be lucky or skilled enough to buy the right stocks.

Here’s the big picture …The price of a home and the price of a home loan was astronomically lower under Donald Trump. The price of groceries, the price of gas, the price of automobiles much much lower under Trump.

Again, the question can be asked, are Biden supporters insane? Or Are they so brainwashed by the media constantly lying about Trump and race issues and things like that…. that they simply refuse to see how much better life was under Trump for the working man?

The problem here isn't Biden, and it isn't Trump.

The problem of a society that is changing away from being affordable has been happening for a long time. Just, short-term-ism is very common in the US and not paying much attention to subtle changes also isn't common.

Old people want to invest their money. They're rich. Old people have been rich for a long time, and investing in property is a way of getting your money back, being safe and earning more.

During the last recession, 7 million people lost their homes. The US has a boom and bust economy. Presidents have 4 years to prove they should have a second term. Those four years are all about pumping the economy.

The US came out of recession and Trump and Biden have been all about pumping the economy to show they've got the right figures. It's ridiculous.

There aren't enough homes in places, pushing up prices,

What politicians pushed over the years and decades made the elderly more independent. Not to be seen as dependent on their children. Perhaps we would have a major part of the old living with their kids in larger homes.

When low IQs have their world view badly shattered , they either become fixed Deniers or just clinically evaporate almost as you watch.

With lots of attempted deflection and misrepresentation .

Poor little things .

It is strong. What's the problem with the economy? I mean besides the debt Trump racked up and the inflation he caused?/

Prices for homes and cost of groceries, the cost-of-living was much lower under Trump

There’s no way around this point. But what the Democrats have done today is a brainwashing tactic.

Fwiw I rarely hear them talking about the working class. They divide us with race and gender.

We know why prices of homes went up. You blame Biden? What is Trump going to do to fix home prices? Grocery prices are coming down. I know it doesn't "seem like it" to you. I know the economy is good but that's not how you "feel".

Maybe people don't blame Democrats or don't think Republicans will fix it?

I was impressed the other day Kamala knew about those rent algorithms. Any landlord using them jacked up their rent prices during covid. So it wasn't about how much they were charging vs how much they were paying. It was a algorythm that told them based on your area, you should be able to get X amount of rent every month, based on what other landlords around you are doing.

Sorry, but we all lost our houses during the Great Bush Recession. Republicans will blame everyone but Bush/Republicans for it. But assuming you know they caused the crash, and then they bought up all the homes cheap and now rent to the people who lost those homes during the crash.

Anyways, I'm so glad I bought my condo for $58K in the mid 90's. When my condo went down to only being worth $40K, I didn't panic. I didn't walk away. I just kept paying my 15 year motgage and today my place is worth $200K. Now if I rent I too will jack up the price. Sorry takers I'm a maker.
