Who's Responsible for the Pandemic? (Nonpartisan)

China and WHO
WHO is paying by losing their $400million grant from the US
Now China knew almost from day 1 how contagious this virus was.
From the start they restricted all travel from Wuhan to any other place in China, However they did not restrict foreign travel, China protected themselves but allow other countries to get infected.
China lied and people died. China must pay.

Crimes against humanity

Seems pretty obvious that we know it started in China.

The question is whether it's the result of criminality, negligence, or just bad fucking luck.

Anyone who claims to know which one it is for sure, at this point, is just guessing.

Do you think the "pandemic clause" in the trade agreement is legit? If so, it points a very nasty finger at China.
Nothing would surprise me, and I don't believe anything they say.

But something like this would require ironclad proof.

If we are to retaliate against China, we need to do it in a measured and deliberate way to maximize the penalty without causing undue harm to ourselves. Maybe hold it over their heads while we restore our own production capacity and then drop the hammer?

We've been through this a dozen times. China is responsible for allowing the conditions under which the virus started and for covering it up. The WHO could have aided the world's understanding of what was happening had they been less differential to China and more independent in their assessment of the situation.

The Trump's admin is responsible to the US's slow, disjointed, unorganized response and for under stating the risks the outbreak posed until community spread was rampant.

Countries are re-thinking their dependence on China supply chain. As a result, China needs to rethink how it works with the rest of the world. Whether it is Biden or Trump for the next 4 years, we need US to be united on holding China accountable as well as taking a hard universal look at substantially mitigating our risk exposure to another outbreak. It sickens me that politics and gridlock play still play a role when the Country is in so much pain.

Any responsibility on the part of Congress?

But we are pretty damn sure the Chinese held back warning the world as they tried to hide what was happening. That's criminal in my book !

We can start out by pushing for China to forgive the $1.08 trillion debt.

Did China hide the virus during trade negotiations?

Who is responsible for our, still at this point, feckless impotent response and persistent "inability" to ramp up testing so we even know where we're at with this? Well we are going to have to blame someone else aren't we. We're americans, it's what we do.

Yesterday, Thurs April 16th, the US recorded a new COVID-19 death record, doubling its new record from the day before.

In that 24 hour period, 4591 more americans (as if anyone gives a fvck) died of COVID-19 with 31,000 more newly documented cases; in a society that can't even get its shit together enough to even get testing up to where it needs to be.

America first; leading the world in unpreparedness and needless death. For "progress".

Absolutely not I cannot even Blame this on the Democratic house
This is solely on China and WHO

American exceptionalism. If you're looking for responsibility, please except US.
