Who's Playing Politics With Vaccine, Trump Or FDA?

After everything the democrat party has done since 2016, would you put it past them to keep a vaccine from the public till after the election?

Not at all, that's why I posed the question. I wouldn't put it past them at all. The deep state has long arms. But again, Trump will take the heat for this when people develop problems after getting it.

And he will get the blame when they come out and say it was ready but it wasn't released........because ......Trump.......

And the media is working overtime trying to scare folks from taking the vaccine when its cleared for use...shame on them....

I won't take it....Don't even get seasonal flu shots.

If there's ever a comorbidity issue, I'll consider it....But not a moment before.

Before I take it, I would first talk with my doctor, and then I'd have to get the okay from my cousin who is a semi-retired lab doctor that worked with this kind of stuff all the time.

The problem I have with all this is let's face it, hundreds of millions of people are going to be getting the vaccine. When that happens, I don't care how much testing you did on thousands of people, when it comes out, there are going to be problems when you're talking about millions of people.

If the White House pushes this through, then the MSM is going to have a party with this placing the blame squarely on Trump. If Trump sits back and waits for FDA approval, then he's going to get much less criticism.

It's alway wise to be careful...I don't want to be first in line but I will take it...I get the flu shot every year and haven't had the flu in 15 years....the precautions they take today can be trusted...it's not like when we were fighting smallpox and only one lab was allowed to work on it while doing their own testing...without an independant lab inspection and testing....now we do much better and take better precautions....

Yeah but I can't believe politics is not part of this on either side. I think Trump should let them do their thing, and before the election, get a definite date on when the vaccine will be available to use that for his campaign.

They have video of him condemning the nazis at Charlottesville, and every reporter including chris wallace at the debate continue to say he said the nazis were fine people.........

They have jon karl of ABC asking about injecting bleach....but then say Trump said it....

You really need to think about this....because I think you aren't accurate on how this is going to go.

A couple of hours watching T.V. will inform you of the side effect dangers in almost every prescription drug advertised. Take a drug that deals with a skin condition and risk T.B. or cancer. WTF?

Your argument basically boils down to "I'd rather take the shot without any guarantee, than not get one and take the risk"...Classic Pascal's wager.

Also, saying that getting the shot is linked to you not getting the flu is a post-hoc fallacy...Lots of people who get flu shots get the flu anyway, because the annual inoculations are a shot in the dark best guess of which strain will be going around that year.

But if it makes you feel good and safer have at it.

I understand how they work, but when their lies come out, they are easily shot down. If Trump forces them to approve of this drug, we can't defend him in any way.

I expect this to be a pretty partisan discussion. In spite of lefties saying we on the right always stick up for Trump no matter what, as one righty, I'm not crazy about this at all.

The question is whether Trump is risking the health or lives of Americans to have a vaccine out by election day, or is the FDA creating new standards so that doesn't happen helping to usher in Joe Biden?

He is definitely playing fast and loose with the health of Americans and he has been since day one. Once Trump embraced the idea of "herd immunity", and he's had it, he's now gung ho on everybody getting it. He wants to go into the election telling Americans HE has the virus to save them. It's highly political.

I didn't wish death on Trump, and given that no one in the country would get better care, I knew he'd get through this given the care he has access to. I had hoped that Trump would get sick enough that he would have some sort of epiphany that what he has been doing in the country to fight this virus isn't working and change his tactics - similar to what happened to Boris Johnson when he got covid. The UK completely changed their strategy after Johnson recovered, and their numbers have gone down, down, down ever since. We're all having a fall spike, but nothing like what happened in spring, and the UK is now on a better track.

But last night's "Return to the White House" dispelled that hope. Standing on the portico, gasping for air, and trying hard not to cough, ripping the mask off and walking into a room of staffers, many of them unmasked. Suggesting he has "dominated" the virus.

I've taken steroids for my asthma. I used to joke when I was taking them that I could leap over tall buildings in a single bound. I felt so good while taking them, it scared me. But I would be dead without them. A nurse friend told me you could be walking around with double pneumonia and you wouldn't even go to the doctor, because you wouldn't feel sick. It would completely mask all of my symptoms. The steroid Trump is taking is 4 times stronger than the one I was taking.

Then there's the idea that no human being in the world has ever been given this combination of drugs. Why are they running drug experiments on the President of the United States? A nurse friend called it "VIP Treatment". Rich guys get what they want.

The best health care in the world? Don't make me laugh.


Trump's behaviour in trying to pretend he's not sick and carrying on with this virus, hopped up on steroids, will be his undoing. Dominate the virus. What an idiot!

Okay I see where you are coming from...but to me the shot is a guarantee...because I trust the system.....frankly I'm sick of masks and eating outdoors and not going to bars and concerts....living like this is not living...so to me it's worth any risk to see this virus licked....
And most doctors will tell you that people who get the flu after having a shot already had it before the shot....I've never had any adverse reaction to it short of a sore upper arm....

Just a couple of doctors on FOX suggested this theory...but it makes sense if you think about it...Sweden never shut down or enforced mask wearing and to look at that country today one would have to say they handled this the best....they are now living the life we all once did.....concerts restaurants and movie theaters all open.....we blew it....
