Whoops! CIA Man Retracts Claim on Waterboarding

So Ollie I guess that ANY gov't agency like the F.B.I., C.I.A., N.S.A., D.E.A.or F.U.C.K the U.S.A. NEVER has to answer to the ELECTED GOVERNMENT RIGHT!!!???

Arch liberal and speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi knew about it and didn't object.

The only objections occurred when the dems wanted to use it as a political weapon.

Read your Constitution

The rights apply to the accused not accused Americans. If a foreign citizen commits a crime in the US, he is afforded the same rights as an American.

Read the Constitution again...."in the U.S." isn't the same as the battlefield in Afghanistan.

Last time I checked, the 9-11 attacks occured in the US, not Afghanistan. Doesn't matter where you catch them.

Fifth Amendment – due process, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, eminent domain.
No person shall be held to answer for any capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Sixth Amendment – Trial by jury and rights of the accused; Confrontation Clause, speedy trial, public trial, right to counsel
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

Note how the amendments refer to "no person" and "the accused". Our founding fathers never included the word citizen or denied the rights to non-citizens
Last time I checked, those who bombed pearl harbor were never tried on US soil. Now, why might that be?
LMAO!

"The public has a right to this information and the CIA must be held accountable for its flagrant disregard for the rule of law," Singh added.

In a release, the civil liberties group noted "the CIA had previously said it would only turn over documents from August 2002 that relate to the content of the videotapes. But U.S. District Court Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein of the Southern District of New York today ordered the CIA to produce records from April through December 2002 that relate to the content of the tapes, as well as documents from April 2002 through June 2003 that related to the destruction of the tapes and information about the persons and reasons behind their destruction."

"Judge Hellerstein also ordered the government to reconsider the extent of redactions it intends to make to the documents in light of last week's release, also as part of the ACLU's FOIA litigation, of four secret memos used by the Bush administration to justify torture," the release adds. "In addition, the court ordered the government to explain whether contempt proceedings would interfere with a federal criminal investigation into the destruction of the tapes led by prosecutor John Durham."

No the public doesn't have a right to see the video tapes :cuckoo: and that reasoning certainly justifies the CIA destroying them.

For the CIA and the people who try to safeguard america, the information on those tapes need to be secret, because if the public knows, Al Qaida knows, and that would stop america from thwarting terrorist attacks.

For the left wing groups, they care more about making a political issue, than jeopardizing the secruty of th is country.

You are quoting the ACLU. I could give two shits about the ACLU and their pro-terrorist agendas.

You've obviously been watching too much of that stupid "24" TV show buddy.

And, how many lives were saved when KSM gave up the goods when he was given a lil' bath?

Don't know how many? Oh and I mean FACTUALLY not some BS made up number of lives saved.
Well then, it's good thing we waterboarded and prevented the attack. It's a number we don't EVER want to know.

We must thank the CIA for saving our fellow citizens lives. Unfortunately we have an idiot president who wants to demonize those who are doing what they can to keep us safe.

Those CIA people deserve medals.

For those CIA operatives who waterboarded them and got the information from them to stop the LA building attack

:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Did I say that?.....NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I said waterboard the fucker. After all, it's not torture and has been proven to work. Just ask KSM.

Or hell, if you want to actually torture, but also do it in a "legal" way, just put the fucker in a room with Michelle Obama and force the fucker to stare at that hairlipped mutt of a first lady while she's naked. That would cause ANY scumbag terrorist to give up the goods!

The tock is TICKING WJ. You have ONE HOUR!!!!
Oh shit!.....I'd better get that hairlipped first lady over here!

You mean, the bat?

The scary party is that this liberal pro-terrorist mindset is part of the administration that is supposed to protect this country.

No wonder we have had 3 terrorist attacks in 1 year, when we were free from them for the previous 7.

O.K. Ollie you "TOUGH GUY" Here's a little scenario for you,

You have captured a terrorist who has planted a NUCLEAR bomb in the middle of L.A. You know for an ABSOLUTE FACT that he planted it! Would you put his 18 month old son in a vat of boiling oil!!!??? Would you RAPE his 9 y/o daughter if front of him? Would you cut off his wife's TITS and wrap them on his head like ear muffs?

TELL ME OLLIE IS THERE NO FORM DISGUSTING TORTURE THAT WOULD BE OFF LIMITS FOR YOU!!!???

Your 2 year old daughter is one of the people who will not have the time to get out of LA.

What would you do?

I am one of those hard men who could make the hard decisions and carry them out if need be. I seriously doubt anyone is tough enough that we would have to use any of the techniques you have suggested. But I would strap them to a table in a heartbeat and bring on the water. Which is what this is about. Not how far I would go, because obviously I will never be in that situation. But yes I could be hard enough to do what it takes.

So Ollie I guess that ANY gov't agency like the F.B.I., C.I.A., N.S.A., D.E.A.or F.U.C.K the U.S.A. NEVER has to answer to the ELECTED GOVERNMENT RIGHT!!!???

WTF? No one has ever said that. Why must you act so ignorant? The shit worked and you are pissed because thousands of people in LA didn't die. We understand you support the terrorists? It is the only explaination. you can stop now, we've got it.

And this is exactly why they destroyed the tapes. they knew damned well that you bleeding heart liberal asshole would want to post them on the net, and probalby get some agents and their families killed. THINK, JUST ONCE, THINK.

Oh did I mention the terrorist has SEVERE radiation poisoning so he will be dead in a little OVER and hour but the bomb will go off in just UNDER an hour. He doesn't really care if you water board him because he KNOWS he is ALREADY DEAD! He is just holding on long enough to know that the USA has just lost 6-12 MILLION LIVES!!!

What are you 12?

I love this country as much as you do.

For that reason, I do not want to see my country EVER sink to the level where we accept using torture as a way to gain information. This country was built on the rights of the individual. Those rights apply to all people regardless of what crime we think they may have committed.
I am not willing to make excuses that torture is OK if we only do it to three people or if we think we may save lives. People who engage in torture always have excuses why the victim deserves it.
What made this country great was its values and humanity. To sink down to the levels of our opponents because "they did it first" is inexcusable

We understand. You and those who believe as you do would have preferred another 9-11 type attack on the West Coast. No problem then.

During the Viet Nam War, our pilots dropped bombs on civilians and used napalm. The Vietnamese considered these actions to be war crimes. When our pilots were captured, they were considered to be criminals. The Vietnamese tortured our pilots to gain information that could save lives. That was their justification

Those who engage in torture always can find a reason to justify it. Somehow, the victim always deserves it

Actually much of the torture that the North Vietnamese used was to get our guys to make propaganda films for them. Not always to gain military information.

Let's see wasn't there some guy who drove a truck into a crowd. I think there were a couple of others too but hey have your fantasy however you want it.
