As an outsider to the Trump campaign (or any campaign for that matter), it’s impossible to know if the GOP has taken to heart any of the learning from 2012, but maybe it doesn’t matter at all.

Because maybe, Donald Trump has effectively taken the rule book, chewed it up and spit it out all over the political establishment.

If his impact and following on social media are anything to go by, Donald Trump is steamrolling the competition.

The Gateway Pundit predicts, based on an analysis of Trump vs Hillary Clinton’s social media footprint, Trump will in a landslide.

Trump: 10,174,358 Likes
Clinton: 5,385,959 Likes

Trump has nearly double the amount of ‘Likes’ that Clinton has!

When comparing recent ‘live streams’ on Facebook:

Trump Live Stream Post — 135,000 likes, 18,167 shares, 1.5 million views
Clinton Live Stream Post —11,000 likes, 0 shares, 321,000 views

Trump is crushing Clinton.

Trump: 10.6 million followers
Hillary: 8.1 million followers

Trump has 30 percent more Twitter followers — and they translate into real votes. A recent study confirmed that 70 percent of his followers are real supporters, and 90 percent of those real followers have a voting history.

Who knows if Hillary followers are even real?

Trump: Averages 30,000 live viewers per stream
Clinton: Averages 500 live viewers per stream

Trump has 5900 percent more live viewers than Clinton. That’s plain devastation!

Trump has 22 percent more Instagram followers.

Trump: 197,696 subscribers
Hillary: 24,429 subscribers
Hillary for Prison: 55,228 subscribers

Hillary for Prison’s Reddit feed has more than double subscribers of Hillary’s Reddit page, equating to Trump having 700 percent more Reddit subscribers.

Even if you were to assume half of Trump’s followers in each of these media were just following him because they hate him, he’d still be ahead.

I follow Hillary as well. The rubbish her staff passes off as her own Tweet is enough to make anyone puke.

The problem with both ends of,this argument is that many Hilary Clinton voters don't know yet that they are going to the polls. Strong arm tactics by the democrats rounding people up and coercing them to the polls are the only way dems can win. That is why they want yearlong early voting so they can take the van, load it up and tell them that if they don't vote the d they will be put in ovens by the republicans. It's called a get out the vote by the media but it's really a forced march to the polls. If Hilary can maintain the Obama ground game she may pull it off.
