Well, Trump's new statement condemning the settlements doesn't exactly surprise me. I've been kinda skeptical of him ever since he said he would be "neutral" in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. I've also read some rumors that he might cut aid to Israel.

He never said a thing about existing settlements, and in the press conference he (spokesman) only adressed the question when being forced to.

At the end of the day, Netanyahu government actually sees it as a green light regarding the settlements.
