For the millions of us who saw (and still see) Trump as a charlatan and demagogue, the result of this past election were very disappointing. We will all see what the results will be for having placed such an immature person at the helm of the entire planet.

But who will be more disappointed over the many promises made by Trump that cannot be ever fulfilled? Obviously the answer will be those who actually believed that coal miners' jobs will flourish, that cutting taxes for the already wealthy will boost our economy, that privatizing SS and Medicare will help the average American, virtually eliminating the right of women to choose what she wants to do with her own body, etc.

Of course, we will have to wait for how the next couple of years will impact on our struggling and divided nation.....but if both what Trump has proposed in policies, and the people who will be surrounding Trump to help in these proposed policies, then we are in for a scary and very, very bumpy ride.

But the bottom line will be this: Will any honest right winger ever admit to the great mistake he or she has made in opting for a clown such as Trump to lead us?

From the looks of your posts it will be impossible for anyone to surpass your disappointment.

Are you using the same crystal ball that told you Hillary was going to win?

Was Donald Trump a real mistake!?!

Don't know as of yet...

Here is my opinion:

1. You mentioned women rights over their body and what I believe you are attempting to say is the possible court picks Trump will have over the next four years, and one is for sure which will leave the court 5-4 in favor of women right over their body if Trump goes with someone like Cruz...

What could happen is Trump discussing his picks with his sister that was a judge and would inform him on her opinion for his choices for the USSC and if so then expect someone like Sandra Day O'Connor instead...

2. Trump has already shifted on his immigration stance from earlier in the campaign and showed signs he understood he was not going to deport every illegal and now is focus on hardcore criminals.

Will his stance shift back to deporting ever illegal from overstayed visa to those that crossed the border illegally?

Do not know but time will tell...

3. Closing the loopholes will not happen because of the fact the GOP will not give him that...

So was Trump as mistake?

Only time will tell but you will not be happy it seem because you can not wait and see if he fails or not and believe he has already failed... it is like the right with President Obama and they could not wait for anything to go wrong with President Obama admin so they could write they told you so...

Oh well and remember in 2020 Warren is not the answer...

Of course, "only time will tell".....yet, based on how he ran his campaign and the promises that he has made being far beyond the scope of reality (for example,do you think that coal miners will be happy with all their jobs coming back?)...we must speculate on who will be more disappointed, proponents or opponents of Trump's proposed policies?
