The thing is, with or without insurance, hospitals have to treat patients. After that, someone has to pay the bill. Why should we struggle to pay the bill when the illegals who are usually working could make payments themselves?

As long as treatment is given, paying the bill shouldn't be on us. So many hospitals have millions in unpaid bills. If people would just make a small payment, it would make a huge difference for the hospitals. Imagine even $10 - $20 a month from each of thousands of people who owe the hospitals. Many look at the huge bill and do nothing since they can't afford to pay in full. They don't realize they could start chipping away at it and help the hospital remain in business.

Many illegals get paid under the table in addition to receiving welfare benefits. I don't think asking them to make payments is out of line. Many of us who pay taxes are doing our best to get by and heaping more responsibility on us isn't the answer.


Even if we deduct the amount spent on medical care for illegals from the money we send in foreign aid, we still pay for things we shouldn't. We shouldn't be sending as much foreign aid as we do, and we shouldn't give a penny to the Muslim Brotherhood, let alone fighter jets, tanks and weapons.

Congress does nothing to rid the country of Illegal aliens. Therefore, the cost of medical care for illegal aliens should come out of the congressman's budget from whatever state the illegal alien received the care from. Example: An illegal alien in California received treatment from an ER in San Diego. The cost for treatment was $1,400.00. That $1,400.00 should be subtracted from the Senator of California operating budget for his office. After this became the routine practice, then maybe the congress critters would do something about getting illegal aliens out of the country.
