Who Is The Worst President Since WWII?

Hahaha, the self fulfilling prophecy of the echo-chamber makes it's conclusion years before Obama completes his 2nd term.

I believe history will show the worst by far was President Bush (43). But I'll be dead and gone long before an accurate assessment can be made.

yep, who woulda' guessed that USMB's resident Poli(rw hack)Chic would start YET ANOTHER rw hate thread?

You've misidentified it!

CLINTON'S ROGUES GALLERY:

I'd say he's been the target of many unproven accusations.

"I'd say he's been the target of many unproven accusations."

Unproven?

Really?

That's because you are frequently at odds with the truth.

1. When any Liberal/Progressive/Democrat bootlicker is presented with the list of Bill Clintons rape and sexual misbehaviors, the knee-jerk response of the jerk is the expected: "But...but (sputter- sputter) he was never convicted in any court of law!!

This, of course, is a prime example of sophistry, the use of fallacious arguments, with the intention of deceiving. (i.e., the jerk is a liar.)

Let's include a vocabulary lesson in this:
tergiversation equivocation: falsification by means of vague or ambiguous language
And your picture was prominently displayed next to the definition.

2. This is not a court of law, and the argument does not end with a jail sentence....sadly.
It is the court of real world experience, and is based on one's judgment using their experience and knowledge, and, especially, the past behavior of the individual in question.

The type of verdict demanded does not require that of a court, it is the court of public opinion.

3. Based on Clinton's history, is the charge that he refused to acknowledge his prey's refusal for sexual intercourse...possible or impossible?
.......probable or improbable?
.....exceptional or expected?

4. Has he been shown to be a liar? Yes, in fact in a court of law.

The answer is clear.
"Bill 'the rapist' Clinton" is an accurate description.

5. The same procedure should be used to examine as to whether charges would even be brought against one of his lofty political stature...and political party.

That question requires even less effort to answer.....as it has been answered previously, in an even more serious matter: responsibility in the death of a young woman.
I refer to "The Liberal Lion," Ted Kennedy.

6. An auxiliary question might be 'what type of individual would support rapists and murderers as mentioned above?
This, too, is an easy question to answer.
Democrats/Liberals/Progressives

So glad you encouraged this exposition.

That sounds like the sort of criminal justice system you'd find in a totalitarian regime,

but on the bright side, you've made an excellent case for the presumption of guilt in regards to Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz et al being war criminals.

An either/or poll, a best or worst poll binary poll like that naturally produces all sorts of anomalies.

Ronald Reagan won best president in the poll because Republicans threw most of their votes at him,

while Democrats split theirs among Clinton, JFK, and Obama.

Why the Gipper fluffing continues to this day is baffling- he was a tax-raisin', amnesty-givin', budget-buster.

1) Jimmy Carter - made Americans feel worse about America. No one likes a weakling
2) George Bush, Jr. - military adventures in the Middle East?
3) Barak Obama - had a tremendous handicap with a divided, unworkable congress, but even so has underperformed.

Nixon gets honorable mention for Watergate, but was not bad otherwise.

Clinton should get high marks.

Bush "military" adventures? Saved if Saddam hadn't been removed, a minimum of one million children from starvation.

SOME SOLDIER'S MOM: MSM Anti-war Bias - What Milbloggers Have Been Saying All Along!

TVÂ’s Bad News Brigade ABC, CBS and NBCÂ’s Defeatist Coverage of the War in Iraq
This conclusion is based on a Media Research Center study of broadcast network news coverage of the Iraq war so far this year. MRC analysts reviewed all 1,388 Iraq stories broadcast on ABCÂ’s World News Tonight, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News from January 1 through September 30. (In 2006, the MRC will release a similar analysis of cable news coverage of Iraq.) Among the key findings:

* Network coverage has been overwhelmingly pessimistic. More than half of all stories (848, or 61%) focused on negative topics or presented a pessimistic analysis of the situation, four times as many as featured U.S. or Iraqi achievements or offered an optimistic assessment (just 211 stories, or 15%).

* News about the war has grown increasingly negative. In January and February, about a fifth of all network stories (21%) struck a hopeful note, while just over half presented a negative slant on the situation. By August and September, positive stories had fallen to a measly seven percent and the percentage of bad news stories swelled to 73 percent of all Iraq news, a ten-to-one disparity.

* Terrorist attacks are the centerpiece of TVÂ’s war news. Two out of every five network evening news stories (564) featured car bombings, assassinations, kidnappings or other attacks launched by the terrorists against the Iraqi people or coalition forces, more than any other topic.

* Even coverage of the Iraqi political process has been negative. More stories (124) focused on shortcomings in Iraq’s political process — the danger of bloodshed during the January elections, political infighting among politicians, and fears that the new Iraqi constitution might spur more civil strife —
than found optimism in the Iraqi peopleÂ’s historic march to democracy (92 stories).

One-third of those optimistic stories (32) appeared on just two nights — January 30 and 31, just after Iraq’s first successful elections.

* Few stories focused on the heroism or generous actions of American soldiers.
In contrast, 79 stories focused on allegations of combat mistakes or outright misconduct on the part of U.S. military personnel.

People... do you understand that the MSM and the Democrats WANTED Iraq to fail and "reported" and praised successes of the terrorists while telling the world and Americans our troops were the bad guys!
When our own representatives help the terrorists by saying:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid(D) "The war is lost, the surge is not accomplishing anything "

U.S. Rep. John Murtha(D) "Our troops killed innocent civilians in cold blood,”

Senator Kerry (D) "American soldiers going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children."

Durbin (D) "must have been done by Nazis, Soviets"--action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners.
Senator Obama said "troops are air-raiding villages and killing civilians,"

and when these statements are made most normal intelligent people would say..."geez doesn't this just help the terrorists in killing more troops"?
FACT:LOOK at this Harvard study found here THE "EMBOLDENMENT EFFECT"

asked: "Are insurgents in Iraq emboldened by voices in the news media expressing dissent or calling for troop withdrawals from Iraq?

The short answer is YES!!! according to Radha Iyengar, a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in health policy
research at Harvard and Jonathan Monten of the Belfer Center at the university's Kennedy School of Government.
Are insurgents affected by information on US casualty sensitivity? Using data on attacks and variation in access to international news across Iraqi provinces, we identify an “emboldenment” effect by comparing the rate of insurgent attacks in areas with higher and lower access to information about U.S news after public statements critical of the war. (wouldn't you conclude the next president accusing the US military of methodically and systematically air raiding villages killing civilians.. dissent???) We find in periods after a spike in war-critical statements, insurgent attacks increases by 5-10 percent

"military adventures" Remember 9/11/! Remember anthrax attacks 11 americans murdered.
"Military adventures"???

So unlike most of you I provided the FACTS as to why GWB will be considered one of greatest Presidents.

Are you aware that on average less than 1% of the posters on a message board will actually read a post that long?

And that that percentage actually decreases the more often the same poster makes such lengthy repetitive posts?

And are you aware that is why the American voter is so dumbed down because they won't bother to educate themselves with information such as is contained in that long post? If everybody looks at George W. Bush's failures or mistakes or wrong turns only and refuses to even consider any extenuating circumstances or what he got right, then of course he can be listed among the worst of the worst.

But if you look at the whole picture, a much more honest assessment can be made. Bush is a really good guy who loves America and who has his heart in the right place but who made a lot of mistakes--Iraq, immigration, expansion of entitlements, allowing excessive spending, mishandling of the Katrina aftermath, an energy policy only the most flaming rabid liberal could love. But he got a lot of stuff right too. And hopefully an honest history will note that along with the mistakes.

Maybe history will find some things to be kind to Obama about too, but you sure have to look a lot harder to find much of merit he has accomplished. You sure can't point to Obamacare as that is the single most important failure of his administration that has soured the most people against him.

There's nothing in the Obama presidency that even comes close to making the case he's been the worst president since WWII.

Based on what?

there is no doubt, no question about it,. Obama is the worst president America has ever had. And just because your affliated with the Dem Party doesn't mean you aren't capable of seeing and admitting to it either. The facts are there. To begin with, a Muslim should never ever have been elected as President of our country. He won by fraud, and also by black people thinking he is one of them (which he is not), and people that can't see the forest for the trees. Hopefully people now, are able to see how destructive this Obama is to them and our country. I am voting all incumbants out in the next election......alll of them.

There's nothing in the Obama presidency that even comes close to making the case he's been the worst president since WWII.

Based on what?

Take notes:

1.More than 6.7 million more Americans have been plunged into poverty since Obama became President.

2.Real household income is down 5%

3. Consumer prices are up 10.2%

4. Total federal debt is up 58%

5. Gasoline prices are up 82%

6. Food stamp recipients up 49%

7. Debt held by the public is up 89%

However, the Obama administration recently projected an annual deficit of $750 billion in the fiscal year that began Oct. 1, and $626 billion the year after. At that rate, the debt owed to the public will more than double during the Obama presidency.
As of 2012, according to the most recent figures reported by the Census Bureau, median (midpoint) income for all U.S. households was $51,017, which was 4.9 percent lower (in inflation-adjusted dollars) than it was in 2008, the year before Obama took office.
The same story applies to family income, which includes many families with two earners. (The “household” figure includes single persons living alone, as well as families.) Median family income in 2012 was $62,241, or 5.1 percent below the inflation-adjusted 2008 level.
The number of persons living in poverty also worsened again in 2012, according to the most recent Census figures.

8. As of last year, 46,496,000 persons lived in households with income below the official poverty line, an increase of nearly 6.7 million since 2008 and 249,000 since 2011. The total poverty rate remained unchanged in 2012 at 15 percent of the total U.S. population. So for the second straight year, the poverty rate was 1.8 points higher than it was in 2008.

There's nothing in the Obama presidency that even comes close to making the case he's been the worst president since WWII.

Based on what?

Based on his own criticisms of President Bush, his own declarations of what Bush got wrong that he would get right, and his own grandiose vision of what he promised to do once elected as President . He has proved to be one of the most ignorant about the job he was expected to do of any of the Presidents, the most inept at governing, negotiating, or developing consensus, and the most clueless about what would actually work and resistant to doing what has worked in the past.

Based on Reagan's attacks on Jimmy Carters relatively insignificant deficits, and based on Reagan's promises to balance the budget,

and based on Reagan's results being far worse than the man he attacked,

I'd say that, throw in Beirut, and Iran/Contra, and a 16 month recession,

would make Reagan the worst president by your own looney standards.

You falsely assume that a President controls all aspects of the economy. I would think that deciding which Presidents were best or worst you would confine your attention to those measurements a President can actually control.

There's nothing in the Obama presidency that even comes close to making the case he's been the worst president since WWII.

Based on what?

Its an opinion poll, fool. in the opinion of a majority of the people polled, obama is the worst.

polls are not based on facts or science, they are opinions.

No. That is a lie.

Not a majority.

A plurality.

There is a huge difference.

Learn to discern.
