Native Americans... but we slaughtered them to the point where they almost no longer count
There are many more Indians in America today than there were when Columbus discovered America. Just a fact.
Thank you for discovering us. It's always uplifting to see how many people are willing to "white"wash genocide. Are we better off today? Sure we are. Was it necessary to slaughter us by the thousands, steal our land, and relocate us to shitty reservations in order to bring us to modernity? Hell no! I don't for a moment think we're owed reparations because individually nobody is owed anything more than what they earn with their own hard work and diligence, but I won't abide the re writing of history to make a cruel atrocity an act of charity.
That's just sick.
Actually this is whats sick. I cant imagine how badly you suffer from an inferiority complex.

Native American Living Conditions on Reservations - Native American Aid
You're drawing the wrong comparison. We live to ripe old ages, able to see our kids grow and produce grandchildren. I don't have to worry about dying in some pointless territorial war with a neighboring tribe. I don't have to worry that my own sons will either. Ours is a peaceful existence today with every modern amenity at our disposal.
But you're right about the reservations. I'll always respect how my father worked hard to move us off the reservation in Montana so that we wouldn't grow up with the same sense of despondency, despair, alcoholism, drug abuse, and hopelessness that many Native Americans have who choose to remain in victim status. But the operative word is "choice", something we have today that my ancestors really didn't have. Nobody has to live in the squalor of the reservations and I'm living proof of that.
I've yet to meet a single NA, no matter how much they ***** about the white man, express a desire to live the brutal, short, pointless existence that would have been without intervention.
