WHO has read The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka?

With my last poll about Kafka I did not mention this well known work.
Here now I do.

Siddhartha is one of the best novels I have ever read.

I believe back in my junior year of high school we read The Metamorphosis. That was ages ago. I better remember our reading of The Scarlet Letter that year.

I read it. Eh, readable enough. The story of Kafka's work is more interesting than the work itself, IMHO.

I likes Vonnegut's analysis of this novel.

I gave all the girls in my class a great big A for the papers they turned in on that one.


It didn't help me out one bit.

I had to read Metamorphosis in my 10th grade English class back in the '80's. It was one of the few novels I was forced to read in school that I actually enjoyed!

I read the Metamorphosis. Interesting book. Thought provoking. But Kafka clearly had some serious mental health issues. However, that doesn't change the importance or the relevance of the book.
