1 Trump will win the debate without being there. Why? Because he will have time to craft his responses, unlike the others. It would not work except for the fact for ratings the media covers every word he says, and any time the other news networks can hose Fox, you know they will do it, so of course, they are going to cover his crafted take on it.

2. Trump/Cruz, Cruz/Trump. They both have their weaknesses and strengths. The reason Trump should be winning is-----> he adds through subtraction. Trump will carry a reasonable % of blue collar workers who the Democrats have thrown overboard and took for granted. Cruz probably will not.

3. Fox is not conservative, it is establishment. It's number 1 target would be Cruz were it not for Trump. The establishment/Fox is well aware they can run Cruz out of money, not so with Trump; or it would certainly be harder. All of us must understand that this is NOT a fight between conservatism and the establishment. No it isn't! It is rather a fight between regular Republican voters who have been let down, and the establishment. Were it NOT Trump, it would be Cruz; and in fact, may still be Cruz.

4. 3/4 of the Conservatives are behind Cruz. 1/4 of the Conservatives along with disenfranchised Republicans, and blue collar Democrats are behind Trump. For either side to suggest that they will not support the other if they are the eventual nominee, is akin to proclaiming that Hillary or Socialist Bernie would be a better fit to run the country. We have been down this road before with Ron Paul supporters because the establishment wanted to squash them like ants, and that gave us BHO.

Are we again going to go down that path and get Hilly or Bernie? The left is counting on it, for the internals show that unless something dramatically changes or the Democrats jettison Hilly, the GOP has a better than 50-50 probability of winning.

The Republican establishment news outlet Fox, (aka, Kelly, Rove) attempted to bolster establishment candidates at this debate, by having questioners there who would attack Trump, and probably Cruz, and their rino candidates would defend them from the stage, attempting to spin how out of touch these guys are, and again putting forth the notion that they are the champions of the far right. (you Cruz supporters......including myself......do realize that in the world according to the media, we supporters of Cruz, and the supporters of Trump are all right wing loons don't you?)

For whatever reason Trump pulled out, because he knew it was coming and it was either brilliant political strategy, or he just got lucky and did the correct thing, at the correct time, is NOT material. Some people have the ability to walk into a sh** storm, and come out smelling like a rose, while others come out.........well for lack of a better term.......smelling like poo-poo!

And finally, what barbs the candidates use against each other that are insulting? Who remembers "voo-doo" economics, and Reagan was a crazy old guy? Take it or leave it, because Trump's the only candidate to support deportations. Cruz is against deportations and supports a middle ground 'non citizen legal status'. Basically permanent residency for illegals, cruz's policy is closer to rubio's and the amnesty candidates.

Trump wouldn't require those already here to go to the end of the line and apply for reentry the normal way. He wants to provide a expedited process for them to come back with green cards and a path to citizenship, no fines, no taxes, no nothing, he will reward them for breaking our laws.

If I wasn't sure this was the truth, I would recommend that the thread go to the Conspiracy Forum.

I really don't consider anything as truthful unless a source is posted and even then that can be questionable.
