WHO chief is now warning that there WILL BE an outbreak of Disease X.

And to be clear, Salk began his widespread clinical trials with over half a million children. Children were his clinical test group.

Before the 1954 pediatric trials, the vaccine had only been tested on 'scores' of people. Including Salk and his own family.

The deployment of the polio vaccine had far fewer rails and far more risk than the clinical trials of the COVID vaccine.
Salk was tested for 7 years and then slowly released onto an already willing and informed public. Virtually all tests were lab animals. Even with polio crippling 10-20,000 per year there was No Political Mad Rush like in 2020.

Vaccines take years to develop.... you were part of the study

These vaccines had been in development for about 10 years, sparked by the SARS outbreaks of 2003 and 2008. The specific variant that they made for the COVID vaccine was quick to deploy because of that research.

And the process of clinical testing and FDA approval usually takes years to keep the process cost effect and mitigate risk.

In this case, they took on A LOT more risk by clinically testing on a large group first. This vaccine had the undivided attention of the FDA, so review was their highest priority. And financially, it makes zero sense to mass manufacture a vaccine before its been clinically tested.

In this case, the US government footed the bill for concurrent clinical trials and manufacture. So the moment that the FDA approved the vaccine, they had a stockpile ready to distribute. And an immediate market for the vaccine.

Usually, that ramp up from approval also takes years.

No. You fckn dumbass you can't develop a vaccine for something that doesn't exist.

Are you really this stupid?

You really do ascribe to a non existent Nszi dictatorship that various entities hold over us upon whim
You and your 'non existent Nazi dictatorship,' bubble cheeks. You comply with the company's plan, or you leave. Simple.

Bullshit. He developed his vaccine in 1953. He tested it on himself and his family, along with scores of volunteers (apparently dozens) the same year.

He got approval for clinical trials in 1954.....which was half a million children. That was expanded to about 1.5 million across the US, Canada and Europe over the course of the year.

His clinical test group.......were children. This after the vaccine had only been tested on 'scores' of people.

He appears so. The blood clotting being reported by embalmers and morticians worldwide shows as much.

A vaccine requires a host.

I'm not medical but I know that

Because, you blithering slack-jawed shit kicker..... COVID isn't wholly unique. Its very similar to many, many other kinds of respiratory viruses, including SARS. They even originated in the same general part of the world. We'd been developing mRNA vaccines for these respiratory viruses for about 10 years, after the return of SARS in 2008 convinced world governments that another global respiratory pandemic was not only possible, but probable.

The small leap from the vaccines that had been developed for respiratory viruses very much like COVID....to COVID-19 didn't take long. Nor was it particularly difficult because we had a HUGE headstart.

And with the FDA giving the trials its highest regulatory priority and the US government funded the concurrent manufacturing AND the clinical trials, the turn around was very fast.

By the time the clinical trials had completed and the vaccine was approved, we already had stockpiles of the vaccine. And a distribution network waiting with trucks to deliver them.

Nah, I'll just follow the evidence and the actual science rather than some slack-jawed shit kicker on the internet who insists she knows better.

Why would I ignore the NIH and the University of Maryland......and instead believe you, shit kicker?

Just stop, it's like vaccine 101and stop playing scientist with bs media links

I'm not quoting me. I'm quoting the NIH and the University of Maryland.

YOU are quoting you. And your source can't carry her claims.

I'll stick with the science, thank you.

Any vaccine needs a host. How was a host of COVID found ten years ago when COVID didn't exist?

It's basic science, dumbass

Now go away you blundering left loon dumbass

I lived through it. USA was desperate for a solution but still advanced it slowly. Salk was a genius and never injected anything into family nor humans for years. Us lab rats were lined up within months for experimentation and it ended up not meeting 80% of the criteria for standard, proven vaccines. This bogus mud did not prevent jack shit other than in the 6% of All Cases who were critical had a lower death rate.

Again, my little mouth breather, COVID isn't wholly unique. Its very much like other respiratory viruses, including SARS. We'd been working for 10 years to develop mRNA vaccines for respiratory illnesses like SARS, from that exact region of China.

So in order to create a vaccine for a SPECIFIC strain of something you've been developing vaccines for in similar strains , all you need is an example of it.

Which we had in March of 2020. The techniques were already well understood. The manufacturing infrastructure in place, needing only an infusion of cash to expand. Cash, which we had in spades with huge government spending around the world.

We expanded the infrastructure and jumped right into manufacturing while clinical trials were taking place. By the time the FDA had approved the COVID vaccine after the clinical trials, we already had our stockpiles ready to ship.

None of which you understand, because you know the fuck you're talking about.

They go through the entire process here:

And here:

Educate yourself. Because not knowing shit about how any of this works.....isn't serving you.
