Oh, yeh, because there's money in it, what else? But I kind of don't get that bc it seems that money from the US is going OUT of the US and maybe the military benefits? But I don't see how politicians benefit.. guess I'm missing something here (I tend to gravitate toward news that doesn't involve the issue of war, so there's that)

Our Military industrial complex has thousands of lobbyist running around with thousands of dollars and good jobs to hand out to elected officials or former elected officials with old connections... there are many reasons other than money though... some people want war and illnesses to lessen the global population... that is also in the mix...
And of course in the case of Dick Cheney some are old school and still look at Russia as the soviet union...
The thing they hate most about Trump is Trump's desire to mend those old wounds weather its with Putin or NK... Trump also knows who are real enemy is and its China... and our greedy elected officials and our greedy media hate that about Trump.... when they see China they see dollar signs$$$
