Voter suppression is real
No, it's not. If a black person wants to vote, he can vote...
"The median white single parent has 2.2 times more wealth than the median black two-parent household and 1.9 times more wealth than the median Latino two-parent household."
My CFO is paid a salary of $280,000 a year.
He worked his ass off to be where he is today.
Unfortunately, from what I see when I drive through the hood, is that a similar work ethic simply does not exist in the black communities here in St. Johns County.
I look at our local Sheriff "jail log" every morning. It's difficult for me to have too much pity for someone who whines about not being able to find a job when he looks like this:
When I drive to my office I'll see half a dozen or more guys, who look similar to that (face/neck tattoos, fucked up hair, etc), just sitting their watching the world pass them by. Now, did "whitey" make this kid get face tattoos? I mean, you know, I like Bentleys, but I don't think I'd want their logo emblazoned on my neck, especially if the odds of me ever owning one were nil.
This is a guy who will never make anything of himself. He will always be a loser. This is a guy who, because of his own stupid choices, has made himself unhireable. This is a guy who's going to be in that two-parent black household you speak of. It's not because of anything whites have done, it's because young black men have bought into that culture which tells them they deserve to be successful.
Well, that's bullshit.
The only people who deserve to be successful are those who work for it...
