Collect record revenue - which is tax COLLECTION, but when Obama set records for deficit-spending, added a trillion and a half in deficit for 4 straight years, and add more debt than every US President COMBINED in only 4 years AS OBAMA DID it doesn't matter.

When did the ridiculous spending end and the annual budget begin to be balanced again? WHEN THE GOP RE-TOOK THE HOUSE...and the budget / spending.

An annual budget is required by law, but Congress stopped passing one the year the Super Majority controlling Dems took over with 2 years left to Bush's time in office. The next one was not passed until the GOP re-took the House. That's 4 years of breaking the law by refusing to pass a budget. Budget's leave 'fingerprints' of the party in control while a continuing resolution provides some immunity to budgets with trillion and a half deficits.
