The State Department admitted on Monday that it misled reporters about a recent delegation of Muslim Brotherhood leaders and allies who were hosted for a meeting with officials at Foggy Bottom.

State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki claimed last week that the controversial delegation of key Brotherhood leaders and allies had been “organized and funded by Georgetown University.”

However, the university denied this is the case when reached by the Washington Free Beacon.

Psaki clarified her original comments made on Jan. 29 during a Monday meeting with reporters.

The meeting between the Brotherhood allies and the State Department sparked controversy in Washington and Cairo, where Egyptian government officials expressed anger at the Obama administration for hosting representatives of a group they consider to be terrorists.

Well, as far as I can tell... obama is a muslim doing his best to not appear to be a muslim and an insurgent, doing EXACTLY what you would expect a muslim insurgent, president of the US, to be doing.

Put it this way: IF obama is NOT a muslim insurgent, doing what a muslim insurgent who was the president of the US would do. Then tell me what a muslim insurgent, president of the US WOULD reasonably be expected to do, and how that would be different from what obama has done and is doing?

I've asked that about a thousand times and so far, no one has bothered to answer it. And I think the reason is that no one wants to admit that we have a muslim insurgent in the white house. Because to know that, comes with some hairy responsibilities. Sorta like being in 1938 Berlin and knowing what 1945 Berlin looks like.

But I will call out when you are being dishonest as you were.

Now past that: we need to push the admin to support Jordan and the Iraqis and the Kurds with all the weapons and support they need. But they have to supply the overwhelming ground troops in numbers that are needed. We cannot do that and win the war. We will simply end up where we are now: a failing Iraq state in close alliance with Iran and a failed state in Afghanistan.
