What's not mentioned is the relative abilities of the interviewee's. Some people interview much better then others. Just because you make up a resume if the applicant interviews poorly they won't get a callback.

It could be that the black people they hired to act the part of job applicants were obnoxious assholes who had not showered for months. This is not a scientific study, it was a study with a preconceived objective, and is completely invalid as a reference or as evidence of anything beyond proving how not to conduct studies.

Also a better reputation in the work place would go a long way for blacks, but what do you exspect when you got people like "Truthmatters" telling blacks they deserve a job just because their black.

Not at all. My wife is a PhD Industrial Organisational Psychologist (and a hardline Dem) and she says that as represented in the story there is no useful academic study. In her expert opinion (and she has worked for Boeing to help them fix their problems so she IS an expert) there are tons of problems with the study as presented not the least of which appears to be Confirmation Bias.

The way the person being interviewed is responding is concerning to her. She feels the researcher did go in with a pre concieved notion and developed a test that would ensure the outcome.
