While Democrats Sleep in, DOGE Will be Cutting

Yes, it has!

.And with less than ten months in office, that is ALL Trump's fault!

:itsok:
Look how much he's spending. This is why DOGE is a joke. And how about Trump milking the US tax payers for $230 million? Who decides if he gets the money? Pam Bondi and this guy

What a grift.

A congressional investigation targets President Trump’s demand for a $230 million DOJ settlement, raising constitutional questions and sparking bipartisan outrage over ethics and conflicts of interest.

/-----/ "Trump’s demand for a $230 million DOJ settlement,"
The cost of lawfare. Deal with it.

Anyone with a d by their name should be let go and not brought back. The country would be a lot better off
Democrats definitely done it to themselves, and worse it is that they don't seem to learn anything because of their entrenched backers that just lie them into oblivion.

DOGE and vows to slim government

Anticipated layoffs and program cuts amid the shutdown follow Trump's ongoing mission to gut the federal government of fraud, corruption and overspending, which first hit the nation's radar in the early days of the administration when Trump launched the Department of Government Efficiency, as well as previous mass layoffs initiatives.

Back in January, the administration offered federal employees voluntary buyouts to leave their posts before rolling out reduction in force initiatives across various agencies to slim down the government.

"We have hundreds of thousands of federal workers who have not been showing up to work," Trump said during his joint address to Congress in March. "My administration will reclaim power from this unaccountable bureaucracy, and we will restore true democracy to America again."

Well . . . this is what Democrats and "not Democrats" wanted. Easy to blame Chuck Schumer, since he is clearly acting out of fear for his own political job security. But 41 Democrat and "not Democrat" Senators are going along with him, and they are the ones who might boot him out of the Majority Leader job if he backs down. Dem voters share the blame because they are the ones who might vote for AOC if Schumer doesn't do this.

I see no compromise possible, so each side will wait for the other to crack. It may be a good long time, because Schumer only cares about one person who might lose their federal job - himself.

You still blame the democrats?

Yes why would I not?

What a dumb question. if you have some counterpoint to my blaming the Democrats lay it on the table.

Why would a TL NOT blame the democrats for things Trump is solely responsible for? That's a good question.
You should ask yourself that as many times as it takes, until you come up with a reasonable answer.

Take all the time you need.

What is a "TL?"

/—-/ It’s Trump’s fault democRATs voted no 15 times?

I haven't said anything about DOGE in a long time.

You're hallucinating again, I see.

If you really want to blame the democrats, you should blame them for hijacking the RNC/GOP. And installing their own moles. People like Trump and Johnson, who are taking the party way left of center. Year after year.

But then again, who's really to blame? The democrats for succeeding at doing that? The GOP for letting them do it? Or the voters for not seeing how far left these new Republicans are taking the party left of center? Then fire and replace them with more actual conservatives like Massie and MTG.

Seriously, I blame the TL's for overlooking all the leftist BS that Trump rammed down your throats, that you ignore. And for making up all the excuses in his defence.

The covid mandates he initiated.
The covid shot.
The money he spent on the covid shot at Operation Warp Speed.
And ever once going after Fauci for lying about all that.
Or the massive debt he's ran up.
The debt ceiling increases
Never ending the wars
Funding gender studies.
His socialism
His "Platinum Plan."
and on and on and on......

Y'all overlook, ignore or defend all of Trumps leftist BS, as if he was some sort of god. And when a Republican stands up against those thing, the Trump tribe attacks them and either forces them to resign or cheer for their RINO replacement.
Geezus, Justin Amash (a 100% fiscal and constitutional conservative) lost his senate primary to a known deep state supporter. Someone who supports our government spying on Americans without a warrant. Just because he was a die hard TL.

I don't think you people even care about what you're loyal too. Because the idea of Trump is way better than Trump himself.

If Trumps own supreme court didn't find a reason to take up the case, why would you even be dwelling on it? They looked at the evidence before turning down the case. And apparently there was nothing there. At least not enough to change the outcome.

BTW, there were Trump supporters who were also caught trying to cheat.

This country hasn't had an actual "free and fair" election in a century.

Seymour Flops, I don't mean this ugly. But Trump leans further left than probably any other GOP president we've ever had before. You can't tell it by the things he says. And you'll probably never really dig into the things he does if you're defending him all the time.

Maybe some day you'll get tired of being proven wrong, by people who lean further right than Trump.

It's one thing to argue with people on the left. Win or lose, you still have the high ground because the left is ridiculous. But it's another thing to lose an argument with a fiscal conservative, when the one you're defending leans further left than we do. It's almost like you're defending democrats.

Defending his massive spending, debt ceiling increases, funding universities, Ukraine. His socialism. His warrantless spying on Americans. His lousy 2A record.

I guess it depends on your level of loyalty. Are you more loyal to him? Or the USA? Because with Trumps actual record, it can't be both.

You don't have to invoke my name just to give an anti-Trump rant.

Trump is a populist who never claimed to be a libertarian.

He's done better for the nation than the Democrats, or their allies in the GOP.

Not perfect, but the best we have at the moment.

Invoke? You mean "tag." That's done so you'll get the notification. And that's the ONLY reason I did it.
Your use of the word "invoke" was weird, btw.

Trump is a populist who never claimed to be a libertarian.

LMAO. Who said anything about Trump being a libertarian. It's weird you'd even say that also.

He's done better for the nation than the Democrats, or their allies in the GOP.

Just think about how much better he'd be if he'd do those things he promised to do. You know, the things MTG and Massie have been trying to do for year.

Not perfect, but the best we have at the moment.

Who's looking for perfection?
