I have always felt that endorsements mean very little. I don't see anyone going out and voting for someone they hadn't planned on voting for just because of an endorsement. In most all cases, if you are going to vote then it is going to be along the same lines of the type of endorsements you would be subject to hearing or seeing anyway.
But, I wonder how powerful non-endorsements are. This is the very first year I can remember a bunch of places who would automatically endorse the democrat, are choosing not to endorse any candidate. That seems to speak volumes to me. Isn't that a red flag warning of some kind?
OK, so maybe no one is going to go out and vote for Trump just because their favorite democratic media or personality chose not to endorse Harris this year but how many of these people are going to stay home and not vote at all because they realize that even reliably democratic endorsers are not endorsing Harris this year? Or, how many are going to vote independent or third party because you're favorite endorser is not endorsing Harris? Maybe this is a big deal and why democrats have started attacking third parties even harder than they had been.
