I can manage in Spanish.

I also have a working knowledge of Italian and German, but I'm not going to be getting into any protracted conversations in either.

I also picked up a bit of French traveling to Montreal and Quebec City, although that's waned a bit as I've not traveled there for several years...

Basic Japanese, Farsi, Arabic and Pashto—courtesy of Uncle Sam, along with some Swahili. But don't let that go to your head, we got drunk almost every night during language training in the Army, laughing our asses off listening to each other try to speak formal dialogue in whatever backwater dialect spoken in whatever dark side of the moon shithole we were heading to next; I can still read foreign road signs like a champ though. German from listening to my grandparents argue in their Father Tongue, Spanish from high school and Methodist Church mission trips to Puerto Rico and Bolivia eons ago, some Hindi Gujarati from my wife's family, and a bit of Massawomeck Native American from my great grandmother, learned when I was a small child, although it all seems like some made up gibberish this late in life. Overall I still need to hear a sentence spoken and take a pause after, in most foreign languages, before realizing I've got some idea what the speaker is saying. I'm just not exposed to many "off world" foreign language speakers these days, save for my in-laws, who are definitely Martians.
