Actually it’s really hard to go against self interest. And just a tad convenient too... you'd think.
I like this guy. He's a universalist and a full preterist, meaning he believes that ALL will eventually be in God's Kingdom and that many of the prophecies that Jesus made during his ministry, including Revelation, were fulfilled in 70 AD.
But that's not why I enjoy his channel. He does a very good job of talking about how we are supposed to be imitators of Christ in day-to-day life. The following video is about 25 minutes.
I'd Rather Be a Troll Than a Trollop (Like Mary Magdalene)So you're only here to troll. Got it.
No. If you're a Christian, you should already be a citizen of that kingdom.
The first Christians were citizens of the kingdom. He kingdom had arrived. There is no perfect Christian. We all must be cleansed before we can step foot in the Heavenly Kingdom, which has gates and walls.

But you go your way. I'll believe the Scriptures.

The Law of God is the firmament, basis, of Heaven. If you don't comply with the Laws demands in the same WAY that Jesus taught, the same WAY that Moses originally taught to follow the Law, you cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven, neither can you have the abundant blessings and eternal life promised for compliance within you, here and now on earth before you die a physical death. If a person does not rise from the dead before death they will be judged according to their words and deeds. That should terrify a lot of so called "believers". Those who do rise to eternal life while still alive are no longer subject to judgment. They have already passed from death to life. There is no perfect Christian. We all must be cleansed before we can step foot in the Heavenly Kingdom, which has gates and walls.

Then (whoever "we" is).... Y'all do not share the belief of Jesus either.I don't share your belief. We are no longer under Mosiac Law. We are under grace.
Then (whoever "we" is).... Y'all do not share the belief of Jesus either.
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside even one of the least of these commands, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.."
To understand what Jesus meant by saying "least", see Genesis 3:14
Thanks for providing a perfect example of Paul brazenly contradicting the WORDS of Jesus himself.Romans 6:14
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
Thanks for providing a perfect example of Paul brazenly contradicting the WORDS of Jesus himself.
Well done!
Jesus was clear. The Law of God will remain in effect and in full force for as long as Heaven and earth endure.I think that you are misunderstanding the meaning of Jesus's words.

From Hobelim GI, (Genuine Intelligence):From Google AI:
In preterism, the phrase "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter... will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished" is understood to mean that the Old Covenant laws would be fully fulfilled and set aside by the time of Christ's return and the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, as these events marked the "accomplishment" of everything in the Law and the fulfillment of prophecies about the end of that era. Jesus didn't abolish the law but came to fulfill it, and that fulfillment was complete with the end of the Mosaic system and the coming of the New Covenant.
