I like this guy. He's a universalist and a full preterist, meaning he believes that ALL will eventually be in God's Kingdom and that many of the prophecies that Jesus made during his ministry, including Revelation, were fulfilled in 70 AD.

But that's not why I enjoy his channel. He does a very good job of talking about how we are supposed to be imitators of Christ in day-to-day life. The following video is about 25 minutes.

If Shade Stone is a full Preterist, he believes all of Israel's prophecies are fulfilled, not just many of them.

I've seen a couple of his videos, and if memory serves, one was somewhat tied to universalism. I thought it was somewhat cringy; universalism is kind of fringe, even among Preterists. But otherwise I thought he knew his stuff.

The Bible teaches universalism and Shade Stone shares and elaborates on the scriptures that say so.

What I like best about him as that he repeatedly emphasizes that we're called to repent, be loving to others, and to produce good fruit that demonstrates that we are indeed children of God. A lot of what he says hits home with me. I think he's a GREAT teacher, although I don't suggest at all that he's infallible.

So it we're all going to be there, including me who thinks Jesus is a dick for playing for Arsenal, then what's the point of giving a damn in this life? I can kill whoever I like and God's still going to be like "come to heaven little child, you can listen to all the religious people being sanctimonious".

Not really the topic of the thread, which is Christian teachers that we enjoy hearing.

Well, you said why you enjoy listening to this guy. I responded to that.

Perhaps you should just list those who you like listening to, instead of giving reasons why. Clearly the topic is not the reasons why.

Everyone's a critic.

I provided a little theological background about the man I recommended. I encourage you to listen to the video in my OP. You might like him.

That is the point of this forum, right?

I doubt I'd like him, I prefer my fiction to have scifi.

Nope. But I guess if you come on here expecting everyone to agree with you, and anyone who does is a troll, then I guess I meet your low definition of a "troll".

Are you an atheist?

Are you an atheist?

Depends on how you define an "atheist", I guess.

Some say it's someone who BELIEVES there is no God or gods, others say it's someone who just doesn't make a choice.

I'd say I'm "non-religious". I don't know if there is a God or gods.

I'd also say that based on logic, there isn't. But that doesn't mean I "believe" it. It's just what I see.

Let me guess, you think I'm "a troll" because I believe in your God.

No, I mistakenly gleaned that you're an atheist trolling a Christian thread based on your sarcastic remark "I prefer my fiction to have scifi."

I'm not a troll, I do come on here sometimes and have conversations about religion. I also have a sense of humor. Based on the fact that God is something made up, calling it fiction is... not wrong.

You can believe whatever you like.

I believe you.

Christianity is simple. God created us out of love and we are here being prepared for his eternal Kingdom. We're supposed to look to our creator and to follow him and to be good to one another. That's about it.

And just a tad convenient too... you'd think.

No. If you're a Christian, you should already be a citizen of that kingdom.

Does Shade Stone teach that the kingdom has not yet arrived?

The Bible does not teach universalism.

Considering that every argument you make is a moral argument are you sure you should be accusing others of being sanctimonious?
