They are overtaxed. The top 20% of earners pay more than 80% of the federal income tax. The bottom 50% pays about 2% of the federal income tax.


What the government needs to do is spend less. Actually they don’t need to cut spending. They could simply limit increases to the rate of inflation and we could begin to debt under control.
