First of all, when Obama was inaugurated he had a Dumbocrats super-majority in Congress (House and Senate chambers). Until 2011, he had a Dumbocrat majority in Congress (House and Senate chambers). Therefore, it was literally impossible for Repbublicans to "obstruct" anything.

Why is it always the lowest of the low-information voters who think they can "enlighten" those who know the facts.

If you recall, when Obama was inagurated Spector had not switched Parties yet and was still a Republican and the GOP were challenging Frankin's victory, blocking his appointment and so he was not sworn in yet, thus no GOP filibuster proof super-majority. Spector switched April 2009 and Frankin was sworn in on July 8, 2009 giving the Dems a super-majority for the first time which lasted less than 2 months when Kennedy died on August 25, 2009. Kennedy's seat remained empty until September 24, 2009 when Kirk was appointed to take his place until the special election. GOP Scott Brown won and was sworn in Feb 4, 2010 permanently ending the Democratic super-majority.

The Dems had a GOP filibuster proof super-majority for just under 6 months.

That's why he has to pretend the "only" six-months of Dumbocrat super-majority somehow prevented Obama from getting what he asked for. Since Republicans have led in the House in 2011, they've tried to kill the ACA 51 times and they keep trying to restrict a woman's right to choose and they keep trying to pass more tax cuts for the 1%. All three of those things do not create jobs.

Republicans have only themselves to blame for refusing to participate in governing America with intelligence and co-operation with Democrats, who at least work on behalf of the people more often than not.

answer the question; how can left-wing nutjobs ranto about "obstruction" nd "do-nothing congress" when they ADMIT Dems are rejecting dozens of bills passed by the Republican-majority House? So you admit I didn't C&P my list of bills the GOP obstructed. That is at least some progress. As to why I posted them, it's because some Right-wing nut-job said Obama got EVERYTHING he wanted his first 2 years and the GOP were powerless to block anything. I listed only the BILLS that were blocked his first 2 years and not all the nominations that the GOP also blocked. So pay attention, my post was to a specific issue the Right brought up.

Sure - for corporations whose jobs were forced over seas. And they continue to hire over there. But how does that help us here in the United States?
