Prosecutorial discretion is a big deal. It is enormously respected, and it is a high burden trying to challenge any prosecutor's exercise of discretion.

But ALL of the criminal cases against Trump are UNIQUE. Literally. No President has ever had his removal of documents prosecuted, and yet there is no question that classified docs have been taken away by every President for as long as there were classified documents. No President has ever been challenged over his scrambling to find votes as the election played out. No politician has ever been successfully prosecuted for spending money on his own behalf when it COULD conceivably inure to his benefit politically. No one has ever lost a civil judgment, let alone an eight-figure judgment for defending himself against a slanderous claim of sexual assault.

These prosecutors need to be investigated in some way, in detail. Whether it results in criminal charges or sanctions by Bar Associations, or merely public embarrassment, the investigations should go forward aggressively.
