In 2016,, just 4 years ago British citizens were polled about their nations history..including colonialism that resulted in millions of deaths.... answer... they are proud of it.
British people are proud of colonialism and the British Empire, poll finds
How about the British Boer concentration camps? Where close to 28,000 Boer people died of starvation and disease.
or with the Mau Mau people? Where as many as 100,000 blacks died?
Gosh - I bet you never heard of it.
or what about when British controlled India and MILLIONS died of starvation and disease because the Brits only cared about the economic return of occupying India and certainly could care less about the citizens dying by the 1,000's every single day.
Shouldn't the British be tearing down their monuments??
Do black lives not matter in Britian??

Unlike Americans, the British ended slavery throughout the British Empire in 1833 with an Act of Parliament and freed more than 800,000 slaves in South Africa and the Carribean.
Unlike Americans, the British haven't continued to oppress, segregate or murder black people indiscrimminately, after the slaves were emancipated.
Black people in the British Colonies haven't been lynched, bombed, segregated, or stripped of their rights, or any of the other horrors Americans have visited upon black citizens.
